there is no Zhenia here, but... because of there aren't coach's FF threads on the forum, I'm posting these images here... as it is obvious that this woman, this human being is the main success factor of the skaters that I really love - Yulia, Zhenia, Polina... and God, how beautiful she is!

You should start a thread for Eteri and her team. There is already a fan thread for 7k (Kori Ade's coaching team). It would be a good place to talk about her other skaters who haven't done many competitions yet, and I agree, she is an incredible woman.

I fully agree and I would include Averbukh as well, he is really very very good in doing choreography for those young ladies.
What impresses me most about Evgenia this season is her timing, her musicality. I think she has improved a lot in that over the summer, or didn't I recognize it before? :shrug: Maybe those tano's distracted me.

lol please forgive me fans of Jeremy Ten & some others but I cant stand when skaters butcher programs set to Abel's soundtracks :biggrin:
I'm super happy that Zhenya is doing a program to this!
Its such a magnificent connection between the skater & the music that I'm just over the moon with joy!:love::love:

I like her LP too. As far as I'm concerned she has the best LP not only among russian ladies but it's the best LP I've seen so far from all ladies. The SP is nothing special but it's nice.

The most interesting and intriguing program in my opinion.:yes:
Best execution as well (although it's not so important at this point of the season I guess).
 
Averbukh is such Averbukh. How many more masterpieces shall we see from him?

Zhenya despite her young age has pretty strong performing and interpretive abilities. The LP was better but the SP was really butchered bad choreographically. Pity as the SP music Melodii beloj nochi is such a beautify piece with a lot of potential. She has good performance potential but somehow her skating leaves me cold. The basic skating skills are rather weak and while a steady jumper, the flow out is not good and the combinations just look plain awkward from one jump to another. I have not even described the tanos yet. Pity, the SS is really weak but then most of the Russian babes really are rather weak SS wise.

We've only seen the test skates. Test skates by their very nature are not finished products, and plenty could change by the time she competes. Maybe we can wait until then before writing off the SP. I also preferred the FS, but there is time to make adjustments and I'm sure they will.

At the moment, I am not. I can tell she will be a good performer but I do not like her basic skate quality and her jump techniques. It's really odd because I also notice the same thing watching her JW performance. She sure is a fighter but the overall skate quality leaves a lot to be desired as I am a big fan of SS and blade work. Still, I am bias as my personal fave performer is..... Elena Radionova. Not the best artist, not the best SS but she really can perform and draw you in by her sheer exuberance.
