Yulia Lipnitskaya

:laugh:

I remember a russian fan on vk got angry because he thought I was treating her like a puppy. :rofl:

You can't just go to watch Julia Lipnitskaya for the first time, approach her, caress her face and get lovely look back! Fans dream and work their whole lives for this! What were you thinking!? :p
You... you... Italian! :laugh::love:

I agree with her going to competitions - her jumps were fine in warm-ups and presumably in practices, it was in competition setting during the FS that she melted down.
Well, she said that she was fine doing the jumps by themselves (like in a warm-up), but needed to work on doing them with the music, i.e. in the program. So it looks like her mistakes in the LP weren't related to competition nerves, and she just needs to do more run-throughs of her LP (not that it was a competition in Sochi.)

So who is really injured? I've seen posts that said it was Adelina, not Yulia and that a report erroneously said it was Yulia
Oh, thanks! I'm glad that at least the report about Yulia's injury was erronous, and that she's really fine!

And she brought tears to my eyes with her honesty.

She really is amazing. Never heard her making excuses on the contrary, too tough on herself sometimes. She's intelligent, profound and honest to death. I love every bit of her.

Oh boy, can I relate to her experience of having only a couple of people to talk to! That move to Moscow must have been deeply traumatic on some levels...
She's truly one of the most mature and wise teenagers I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot.

So her first choice for SP is Moonlight sonata. Same as Polina. I'm glad she changed it.

I thought she chose the SP but it was the LP. I'm glad she's not skating to Moonlight sonata.
