In all seriousness, I hope Yulia is not too affected by all this 3-ring media circus about/around her, and learns to hone and channel her emotions and energy into her training and performances. Whether or not she is podium-ready this season, frankly that is not what is most important (to me as a fan), I am just glad she is back and seems to be in a happier/healthier state than last season. Puberty is secondary, but 'growing up' mentally is not easy for any person, let alone growing up in front of the constant scrutiny of everyone's gaze and opinion. Wishing Yulia all the luck, swag, sass...and most importantly: HAPPINESS in her future! :party:

Please excuse me, my inner Destiny's Child is playing too loud right about now for me to care. All I have to say is...Yulia has conducted herself with more tact, dignity and respect than most adults would ever hope to have.

And there is no need to say 'excuse me' for that... :biggrin: Fans at the Russian boards have been saying just the same many times. That Yulia conducts with far more tact, dignity and respect, than all those grown-up fs personalities that were hounding her last season... :rolleye:
 
JPTV did a segment on Mao and Yuzu, featuring some cute and/or awkward clips.....serenading, touchy-pedo-mascot, smiles, shrines etc. Anyhow, Yuzulia Sochi/WC throwback cameo + panel-mention at 12:02-15-10. Panel thinks they are super kawai, but ends with Mai denying that there is anything between them two. :laugh:

Well Yulia has someone already, I am glad Mai was so fast to prevent assumption and gossips. :)

Totally digging the old school Mushy footage!!! Young mushroom haircut Yuzu is like a nonstop party:yay:

So curious as to what we'll see out of Julia at Finlandia. I'm just not sure what the to expect but I'm sending positive vibes to my homegirl on the other side of the globe. :cheer: :cheer2:

I could be wrong. I'm slowly falling out of the loop these days but seem to remember an interview where they said she would go visit Zueva after Finlandia and prepare for SA in the states to finish the choreo and adjust to the time change. I'm not 100% sure though...maybe someone more up to date can confirm or correct my assumptions. :cool:

Love how Mai fanned the flames a little by first mentioning that Yuzu is someone who Yulia greatly admires (getting everyone all excited), only to immediately pour cold water on top by replying 'NO' to the Yuzulia question. Well played, Mai. Well played. :agree: :laugh2:

Am I the only one simultaneously excited and terrified at the costume possibilities for the Elvis program? Will it be a classic 50's ladies rock&roll outfit like Leonova's, or will it be a more classic understated dress. Personally, I'm hoping Yulia will rock a bedazzled catsuit onesie/jumpsuit (a censor-friendly combination of this and THIS). But then, I'm relieved knowing that mama Lipnitskaya has got better taste than me. :laugh:

I'm hopeful because I've always loved her costumes except for the beaded RJ dress from last year. But even that looked amazing. Only the colour was just too off from a regular vantage point and the intricacy was invisible. I completely doubted the red and white but as soon as she started to skate it was wonderful.
