Besides, I'm kind of curious how Mao did her 3Lz... It's not easy for 25 year old lady in figure skating to have a technical improvement...and accounting the fact that this was a failed attempt(tried to revise around 2008-2009) I think that Mao came with great determination if she really revised her edge on 3Lz.

I'm really clueless about this, When is it on, And is there a stream?
This competition makes me think that 3A isn't worthy if the skater can't landed it with some frequency. I mean, Liza scored around 140 before the Worlds, when her LP's layout included two 3L and a 3-3 in the second half, it really worked for her and maybe be the way for her to remain competitive for podium this season. I think the 3A is always "all or nothing situation" and it was very costly for Mao in the past too.

I am referring to the bigger and more obvious outrage people would have felt from the ridiculous marks which is what you stated, that she deserve 72!? Mid 9.5s in every PCS category?
What does Adelina have to do to result fall in PCS behind her compatriots? You are suppose to be marked on what you have delivered, not what you are capable or who you are regarded.

Right now they are broadcasting special program focused on Mao and JO
I went back and read it now just to make sure. They said that she beat Mao by 3 points in the PCS. That did not occur.
But still, this was a step up from what she has showed us so far. I am really happy she attempted the 3A this early (I guess papa Mishin knows it will not be any margins this year with Mao back in the business) but I still have not seen any 3/3 attempt from Liza this year..?
Cannot wait to see all the performances...I am curious to see Wagner's program, it sounds that it was pretty solid and cannot see why her PCS's should be that "low"?

I do agree with thatBut since there is not enough time to improve since test skate and Russia cup for Adelina, I was just saying based on those competitions. Obviously, discussions here are kind of worthless right now, I do admit that. I'll just wait... Sorry if any of you guys are hurt by my comment, but I do not really like Sotnikova based on "what and how she performed lately"

lol People are entitled to their own opinions and they are allowed to have them. Some people get so angry when somene says something bad about their favorite skater. It doesn't even really matter. not like the skaters come on here and read these comments. people get too sensitive. i honestly don't like Sotnikova at all. Her choreography tends to suck and is horrible. I tend not to like the Russian style. My own opinion. But man oh man no one can compete with the height that she gets in her jumps. She can jump to to the moon! Not even Mao! I am not saying she earned 72. I didn't see any of the 6 routines. I am sure Mao deserved the highest mark from the reviews. All I said is that is about where she starts, with a perfect routine, based on both past performances, and what I've also seen. She obviously wasn't perfect. Your guess is as good as mine as to what she earned tonight. But it doesn't seem that far off to get 66-67.

but you cannot refer to the chan-hanyu contest saying chan was beaten by pretty much everyone… when yuzu wasn't also there… what if yuzu bombed it… my comment is just stating facts… and quoting the previous poster making reference to the well-known thread on the forum

This is true. I am happy to admit when I am wrong. Sorry about that! I definitely misread that and deserve to be called out.
