2026 Olympics Team Event: Pairs' Free Skate

I asked this in their Fan Fest but putting it here too -- does anyone know if Danny and Ellie are working with Nina Mozer now? I saw her standing next to Drew Meekins and clapping during their skate. I know she helped Cain & LeDuc a lot, and she might be a great help to them with their throws. Just curious if anyone knows.

I'm glad you put this question here. It sounds like she must have worked with them, even if only a few times. Ashley & Tim used to go to her workshop for several weeks.

What's rolling around in my head is Evgenia Tarasova's remark about Nina Mozer. Something like what was so helpful about her coaching was that just before they skated, Nina would tell them just to |do such and such" (it was often a small thing, although I can't think of an example) "and everything will be fine." That would give her confidence and also perhaps take their minds off something that they were worried about.

I think it's a brilliant technique, and I can absolutely imagine that helping Ellie and Danny.

Or maybe Danny needs to learn how to do his part? Ellie is a brave lady, in line with the posts above - I wouldn’t let Danny throw ME if he pays me ( a substantial amount of money!)

Honorable mention to Chan & Howe coming in 7th in the FS at the Olympics - to all the naysayers from US Nationals that they did not deserve to come - Ellie & Danny in 9th place - well done MVP of the Team Event - and all the final 5 teams - wow - what a performance during the Olympics Japan, Georgia, Germany - congrats
