Yep, you're right I ment the competition videos but some of the fan's works are also great.:)

They changed the name to slow motion video analysis thread :confused: I just figured they would edit the videos too.

Well...that and I put new security on my computer and my old video downloader won't download HD clips.

I thought that was odd, too. But I've seen a lot stranger when it comes to changed thread titles. Some of them don't even sound like a real human wrote & posted it.

I've all fan videos on my disk, including yours ofc.. I'm too addicted to them to wait for YT and depend on internet connection. :biggrin:
 
If anyone is interested I made a quick video of Yulia saying her own name. She's very sarcastic because it's in response to all the hype and attention she got after Sochi which we all know she didn't understand.

I think original koatcue's post looked perfectly fine. The whole idea of "Fan fests" is that they are created by fans for fans in informal way. They are not encyclopedia or wiki and fan's writings, opinions and thoughts are not property of the forum owner. Editing someone else's messages is a blatant abuse of free speech and we should stand up against it. :disagree::disapp:

Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted in 1948, states that:
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

I have a lot of respect for you, witcher, but I have to disagree with you on this one. In my opinion, the OP is like a face of the whole thread. Informal is good and fine, but I prefer to have ALL the information stashed in one place: results, programms, videos of important competitions, links to info pages about skater. It's VERY helpful, at least for me.
And Doris decorates the OPs like a magician, her work is never appreciated enough, if you ask me. I can imagine HOW long it takes to put all the results, links, videos together from different sources in such perfect order. So I want to thank dorispulanski again for everything she did, do and will do for this forum. And she's doing all this in her free time! :bow:

P.S. I adobted Loboda/Drozd Fan Fest thread a while ago, but I still can't find an internal strength to make such amazing OP for it :slink: I need to clear my schedule, I bet it'll take a lot of my free time.

Yay! Finally! Thank you, Sam. I hope people will stop think of her as LipnitskAya, and will start to pronounce for last name correctly. It is not that hard, is it? :)

With all the respect - you're saying that koatcue's original writing had to be edited without permission, because it hadn't met your requirements. That's quite scary approach tbh. :slink:
Don't you think it would be much easier and elegant to create the post after OP and put all necessary informations there?
Or create some initial rules/new topic form(?) for OPs?

Editing people's writings signed by their name without their permission is unacceptable.

I can't believe we're discussing this, to be honest.
I stand by my opinion, I see absolutely NOTHING criminal about it. And no, I'm not going to send you my password, I also am not going to post anything about this matter anymore, especially in Yulia's thread.
 
My modest opinion about this ↑↑↑ discussion consists of two §§:
§1 - the admin is allways right
§2 - if the admin isn't right, see §1

P.S. and let's relax and just support Yulia :)
