I always use Yulia, because Julia is like a different name in English (as Julia Roberts, like JLfan said).

And I wish all the best to Yulia in Finland! I missed her so much! :)

I'd be surprised if she get as generous TES as you suggest that consider at last WC Liza only got 36 for a 3A short and Elena got 32 with a 3Lz3T, but then again, this is in Europe, a b competition. and she is seen as the likely leader in this competition. It will be interesting to see if she receive an ! or e on her lutz. I like this program.. so hopefully she get better PCS :P

As for nick names, surprised no one caller her JL from the Block yet :P

Well, TES is pretty much objective. Other than the Lutz, which I'm assuming won't get called because most people agree she's fixed the edge, the BV and GOEs are all ones she's achieved before. The change in the 3T really helps her here and considering that all her jumps are before the bonus she still has a high BV. With 3lz-3T she'd either have to do 3F or 3L and while those have higher scores they are also more risky. Am I the only one who finds it competely unfair that they can do 3T-3T and 3Lz but they are not allowed to do 3Lz-3T and 3T?

The wrench in things is what she'll get for PCS. The SP is amazing, better than Megapolis (did I spell that right?) So I can't see them marking it low if clean. I went with 30 because that seems a conservative estimate. Totally clean I think it could easily be up there with her highest of 32, 33 PCS.

Here's to a good start for Julia into the season, two clean skates and a happy smile on her face when she leaves Finland. :cheer2:
