One minor criticism: the music transition between the "frosty" step sequence and the "tingly" slow part seems jarring to me, but it may because I really don't want the step sequence to end just yet.
Boycott ISU and ask for 30 seconds longer so we can see his step sequence longer. :hijacked:

^ You two realize that he'd only start his own petition so he could use those extra 30 seconds for more jumping passes, don't you

Watched replay of practice, and I definitely think he will be doing 4T3T in short because he did it from this steps I talked about

Loved it to bits, it's quite an upgrade from POTO; the step sequence is beyond my expectations. I don't think the music transition was abrupt at all, I thought it was at the show version but at the actual program it works just fine for me. If he lands most of the jumps while mantaining this kind of attention to the performance at the actual competition this program can be magical. However, his run throughs are always where he pays more attention to the details, so I'll still keep my expectations not too high, we'll see. But everything I saw till now is just  Good luck!

One little complain is that I think he's doing his ending pose way too hard ... I know he's going for the dramatic effect but It looks kind of odd to me, calm down your fierce a bit.

Shae Lynn Bourne did an amazing job choreographing it, didn't she? Every movement corresponds with music, arms, legs, entire body, every movement has meaning and is so in character. Those gliding crossovers at the end of the sequence make him look like a mysterious foxy magician who's emerging from a victorious fight! I too hope Yuzu won't forget those details when he won't be able to opt out of half of his jumps.

Yes, I think she did  My favourite part might be the step sequence especially the ending of it and also the segment between the 4T2T and the 3A3T. I love how he looks up when the mood of the music changes at 2:43 and the spread eagle, especially how he looked down at his blade after it and the position of his hands. His arms are quite lovely and in synch with the music here, as it is in most of his run throughs. (just don't take out those details when you compete Yuzuru, take your time with it, I beg you lol)

Little bits of info from those that were there:

He had two bodyguards with him, entering and exiting through the back doors mostly.

He was dancing along to all kinds of music that was played during the practice (including Shake it off and Uptown Funk )

Japanese TV crew were on hand already during warm-up.

Yuzuru's step sequence reminds me of Yin and Yang (e.g. his backward cross-roll in the beginning and forward cross-roll in the end, the art of balance), very oriental!:o: Another suggestion, watching his practice video with your ear plugs, feel the drum.
Also his move before stsq. feels like he is throw some magic dust used in Astrology or something similar.
