You mean he originally planned the two 3A combos to be 3A-1lo-3S AND 3A-3lo??

Nope, they were meant to be 3A3T and 3ALo3S. But he had scratchy landings on both. He only did a a 3A2T and the second 3A also had a turnout. So he skipped the combo there and added it to the 3lo

and how big scoring potential this program has, he left many points on the table there, if he hits everything he will go over 200

This was AMAZING! This is my favorite FP of his now. Like seriously, this was definitely something amazing. Like oh my. It captivated me from beginning to middle to end.

The effect of Yuzuru's ending pose really reminds me those movie trailers of asian influenced movies, like the final stamp of the seal, the stroke of a brush etc. to bookend the trailer (I hope you know what I mean:biggrin:).

I have no idea how some skaters do that  I'd have a hard enough time staying on my skates (and staying alive), never mind doing the math and changing my choreo mid program

Me too!!! I love the movie, I love Japanese traditional music (the type) and I love the program!
um his original 3a combos were 3a-3t and 3a-1lo-3s but he did 3a-2t and 3a instead here
Thanks!!!

thanks for explaining! Is it to avoid zayaking? And was he penalized for not having a second quad toe in u a combo?

He wasn't in danger of zayaking. He put the lo-3S combo onto the 3Lo to make the most of his combos since he missed it on the 3A. His 2nd 4T gets a +rep penalty (I think he only get 70% bc) bc it had to be in combo, so that ticks off one of his 3 allowed combos.

Edit: I think I may have gotten the +rep wrong as counting as a combo.

I see now!! What a smart boy he is!! Thanks so much for explaining!!!

I think he should jump 4T2T first right after 4S because the second 4T if he misses it he will loose a lot of points.

Haven't seen any pictures or watched anything yet but I can tell you now, there's no way he'll move the 4T combo up. Whether that's good thing or a bad we'll see...:drama:

eta: YUZU!!! WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR COSTUME??????? :hopelessness: I loved the original version...I'm so sad. I wonder if it was too structured and it hindered his movements/jumps. The bling is probably because he wanted some color so the white doesn't blend into the ice but.....sigh. Let me reminisce about what could have been.

his costume looked actually quite nice on that podium photo, but look closer:hopelessness:
it actually reminds me of Yuna's heavily decorated (like a vest) SITC dress, eventually fans get over it:biggrin:

That is exactly what costumes are for, to look good from the afar. ;) Judges can't see your costumes close up when you move all the time.

The masterpiece. that could easily got all my admiration.
I think that Shae-Lynn did really great job. I already liked the choreography at the ice show but that succeeded in adding more detailed. there is nothing boring parts through his program.
She instantly became one of my fav choreographer by his performance today.
He seemed to quite concentrate on his performance and after all, be satisfied with it (also according to him being very talkative with Braian in the K&C was another highlight ) that’s what I would like to see from him. kinda shame on the jumps but if he skates cleanly I don’t know how much scoring potential the program has. He could get over 300 points along with his SP if he pull it off as almost perfect? His musically amazed me even more.
