I'm sorry Elizaveta Tuktamisheverus, but I didn't like that.

It was a "Bohemian Rhapsody" moment for me. A song that I absolutely love, but a version of it that I hate.

Mind you, I have to admit, I didn't recognise the song for that instrumental bit at the start. It was only when I noticed that I was singing along ("Sempur Cresis. Et Decresis") that I realised what the song was!

Plus, Liza looked like she was putting a lot of effort into the skating. It wasn't coming effortlessly to her like last season.

I suppose you could say that it was because it is early in the season. But, just remember that she had already won the first 3 competitions she had entered by the time she arrived in Nice last year.

Hopefully it will improve as the season goes on. But, at the moment, I'm not fussed on this routine.
