she just did not do it in her FS run-through, she might have done it in other time just for practicing that spin. My attention was not on her when other skaters were doing their run-throughs, This is just my over-all impression.
I have a vague memory that she might have landed either a 3S-3T or a 2A-3T once? in this practice.

Does she ever do half loop to salchow? I'm not really a fan of half loops but her Salchow is one of the best so it would probably be pretty awesome if she did it. Right?

The Hilton. Just ran down to the lobby and saw one of the men from Team USA being given a goodbye from his mom, she was shouting after him, "I love you, honey -- call me in the morning!" :

From my vantage point, Eteri was rubbing the ice off Evgenia's leg I think. But, I was still convinced she was hurt from that fall into the boards.

You must be right about ice. Lets hope if she was hurt it wasnt bad and heals quickly. I would love to see her skate clean and see her scores.

Several people have commented and I noticed in the practice videos that his shirt rode up a LOT, and his practice tights are quite low-riding.

At least we know he's in good shape.

Wow Layback! Did Julia actually grow a lot!?

It would be interesting to compare past media guides with the current ISU fact sheet if it is up to date. But I think THIS Julia is 3 plus inches taller than that little girl in the Red dress skating to Schindler's List. Just my opinion. One factoid before bed. Street traffic is very light at all hours. No problem crossing the streets. Perpaps Mrs P knows why?

Probably because Milwaukee is part of the Rust Belt, the city was built for a much bigger population than what currently exists. Detroit is the same way, not a lot of foot traffic but tons of roads. It will probably pick up a bit as the weekend approaches.

I haven't seen any. That's truly unique to Detroit! That, and cars ablaze alongside Woodward Ave.
