Elizaveta Tuktamysheva

I am not sure whether you are interested in some relatively old news about world champions at Japan Open this year.

Here it is http://web.icenetwork.com/news/2015/10/06/153372770/world-champions-talk-new-season-new-programs, in which there are some interesting quotes from Liza, in particular this one: "At least in the first half of the season, I will keep the current layout and improve the consistency of my triple axel," Tuktamisheva said. "If everything goes well, I may try to add another triple axel in the second half of the season."

Another interesting comment from Ryan Bradley on the intense competitions among Russian girls this season:
"Sotnikova totally becomes a dark horse," said 2011 U.S. champion Ryan Bradley. "The Russians are so deep. It just takes Tuktamisheva to make a mistake or two and she'll be off the podium at Russian nationals. [Julia] Lipnitskaia really faltered last year. It speaks volumes for how deep they are as a nation. Elizaveta can be world champion again, yes, but she can also be sixth at Russian nationals."

Great article, thanks for sharing!

Her performance looks better without the black gloves. The choreographic changes they made to the SP are good. I also noticed Lazukin was rinkside capturing everything on video.

Hooray! I was wondering what that was.

He looks nice. I am sure is a loyal and devoted knight to his Queen.

Oh cool! now she and her coach have both gotten this award! Following in Mishin's footsteps, like every young skater dreams of...

Yeah, there are various levels of titles, Master of Sports, International Master of Sports, Honoured Master of Sports and some others. Honoured Master of Sports is the highest.
