Let's not over analyze things before Hanyu's even skated. We'd go crazy doing that :hpull:
If he does poorly, it is what it is. He'll just end up with more practice time and maybe time for some smaller competitions in December.
if he did poorly, it would affect his confidence strongly... How long for him to get back from that?
Don't get me wrong, I hope the best for him. But I am in serious doubt.

A performance that makes him satisfied is a performance that helps him win, and that means good score with great TES. I am in doubt that his mentality is ready right now.
sorry, but if you keep this up, people are going to throw some of the new emojis at you. Just saying.

Is he ever satisfied though ... I said partially. We will only find out for sure in a few hours. ;) So let's chill and wait.

Actually for Yuzuru, I feel like bad practices mean good competition skate, and good practice skates jinx him.
:2thumbs: So go Yuzu!

I'm sooo worried now....
It's a bit egoist, but I'm worried he won't make it to the GPF when it's the first time I can go to a big competition (and my only chance to see him live...).

Just remind me do you remember Yuzu's first GP where he skated well, :))) he usually skates one bad one good program, fingers crossed--- I believe he will do it, he proved it many times,as I have said before (RJ1 in Nice and GPF LP practices were bad, while sochi LP nice )
Gambatte Kiddo you can do it:cheer :ghug:

I have faith in him. Considering the time he's skating at, I'll have to wake up in the morning again to find out if everything went right. I want him to win, but I'll be very happy to see him on the podium. But a gold or silver would give him better chances for the GPF. Go Yuzu! We know you can do it! :cheer: :agree:

Many ladies on lower positions had very good comebacks today, let's hope that it happens with the men too! :gclap:

we can be selfish together if you like :slink:

Okay Yuzuru, I've got the ladies 2nd place correct so throw me a bone here and let me get my men's 2nd place prediction correct as well.
In the top 5 I got 3 ladies right and 2 predictions were completely off :hopelessness: I put him in first. If he can't get me 15 points, 10 would do nicely. Pretty pretty please. We just saw Liza come back from the dead, I'm sure he can do it too *sacrificing a piece of chocolate cake to the skating Gods*

Seeing how the ladies results flipped, i definitely sense that the men's results are also going to flip. I trust Yuzuru to get himself together.

I hope so! Go Yuzuru!
I don't know when he skates FP. Could you tell me? Thank you! :)

He will be first in the last group, which is, IIRC a little before 8pm local time (7:50 to be precise according to the competition time schedule)

:hslap:

Gooooood....I was intending to wake up 2 hours later of Yuzuru's Lp and then...BANG! I woke up 10 minutes before. So after reading comments, I'm going BACK to sleep.
back to sleep;).....back to SLEEP:scowl:...back TO SLEEP:furious:...BACK TO SLEEP DAMMIT!!!!!!
