Welcome iceflyer and nice to see you back Victor (I seem to recall you did some nice translations earlier this year?).

Seems like he has also had eating issues these days (look at the perleche on his mouth), along with his asthma, so that he seemed to lose his weight and stamina even more at SC.
Hopefully, he is freed from the suffering as soon as possible. :con3:

He said that somewhere, when in the end of the last season, he had already decided to keep it for next season. That can be said how he is willing to do Chopin cleanly one day.

What is perieche.

Please don't make up stuff we don't know anything about. Yuzuru's said he was healthy and felt great and I personally believe him. After that people say that we as fans make up excuses for our skater when he doesn't skate well by ourselves. Yuzu'll be fine without our wrongly made assumptions.
A mark on his mouth is known to appear after catching a little caught. Yuzu seemed fine and filled out as he usually is in his best times. He just needs to prepare more and to compete more. GPF will proove his strength.

Can someone refresh my memory please, I seem to recall there was this thing about skating with the mask on that was supposed to help with stamina or his asthma control? I don't know anything regarding this, but I remember seeing him putting his mask on near the end of the OP while he skates around some more. Is it to help with/improve his condition in that regard? :scratch2:

I think someone said that the mask helps him adapt to a greater demand of oxygen, since it's harder to breath with the mask on and after a while, it will be moist, making it even harder to breathe. But that's, as I understood, to improve his oxygen intake.

I think he looked as healthy as ever at SC, his condition has improved a lot, I'm sure a couple of years ago he wouldn't have been able to pull off such a demanding program. At least not without finishing like he did at Finlandia 2012. I'm not sure what he's been doing to keep his asthma on check, but it's been working wonders

I don't think she does either. She may have occasionally had bad practices and performed better in competitions. But I don't think she had worse practices than competition performances on a regular basis.

I think she did actually. I remember Adam Rippon who was her training partner under Orser said in an interview (with TSL??) that Yuna never had clean run throughs in practice so that he was always very impressed and a bit shocked when she skated perfectly at competitions. I am not 100% sure but I think Orser talked about it at some point too.

What I tried to say is that his mark on the left corner of his mouth. (I had goggled and just found the word in English :dance3:).

ok, I apologize if it may sound like that or I should have said, adding that “I am guessing” even though I myself didn’t have any intentions to make up excuses for him.

Sorry if it is posted before, but Yuzu's EX at SC with Tracy's commetary I thought was nice.

And NBC version which I always had trouble waching by geoblocking is somehow OK here and finally able to see this. Great to hear nice comments and obviously happy Jonny.

Thank you so much, I was looking for those! It was nice that Tracy explained the meaning of his ex. And I love how the male commentator keeps calling him Yuzu :cool14:
However I think you posted the same link twice, the NBC one is missing.

The third episode of the Italian program "Tutti Con Ambesi"!! Massimiliano and Angelo analyze Yuzuru and Patrick's scores at Skate Canada for over 80 minutes!! (translated by Carolina Corsali, Lys Alton and Greta Beltrami for YHIFG )Max and Angelo aren't fans. They are probably the most knowledgeable people on figure skating in Italy or among the very best.

TRANSLATION:
Ambesi starts the discussion pointing out how Chan vs Hanyu topic is very complex and how, to understand Skate Canada results, it’s needed first to divide the discussion in two parts (short program and free program) and then to get in some depth over what GOE and PCS are and how they are given out.
Ambesi remarks that there have been many discussions over the result, and although Patrick Chan probably deserved his overall win, what surprised the most was the advantage he put up in the free.
Many gave their opinion on the topic (experts, coaches) and among them Plushenko too. Here they sum up Plushenko interview.

Welcome!!!And to be frank, when it comes to yuzu, I'm really in confusion emotionally, on one hand, I want to be optimistic and I know he's wise beyond his year, but on the other hand, I feel worried about him all the time too! Idk how to describe well but I think you did it for me, it's really like an inner battle between positive and negative me.....

Sorry if I'm not making sense.....

That really makes sense to me!
I always care about people close to me or my favorites much more than himself/herself:hslap:
And things usually go better than I expect.
Endless worry is an outgrowth of love, I think:biggrin:

Welcome Victor! I like very much your post! :)
I can say I do because I admire very much not only the skater but the person with a very beautiful soul. He works hard and fights at every contest and he loves to skate with so much passion. Yuzuru is the greatest skater of all time.

Thank you. That's the point I admire him tool:agree2:

Welcome iceflyer and nice to see you back Victor (I seem to recall you did some nice translations earlier this year?).

Year, that's me:)
But I regret having roughly translated that important interview article a bit.
That was Yuzuru's first message just after his comeback, which everyone on the thread had been longing for, exhausted from many worries and speculations.
So I'm still afraid my humble translation might have caused some misunderstanding about what he meant.
I just wanted to bring his voice to you all ASAP because, reading the interview,I was so impressed at his strong "Never-Give-Up" mindset, and his faithful attitude towards FS and people surrounding him.
