Yup, it looks like they were having some issues last year, which actually resulted in not so good performances, but now they got it worked out =)

Moskvina has taken in several young skaters this summer, maybe that has changed Yuko's mood. They used to train more or less alone.

Good thing they do interviews. Otherwise - absolutely rolleye worthy......Its like the opposite of the British Eurosport!

On the other hand I just read LP comments from FSO & oh boy so much joy & happiness & emotions all over the place. Such rollercoaster ride was just reading!
From being unsure & pessimistic/hopeful beore the LP to biting nails during the program to worrying about S/H winning on home turf & cursing judges in advance)))) to final & absolute joy & the feeling of justice in this world!!
Some people even posted about standing on the knees before their monitors!
Guys brought so much joy to so many fans of FS! Such a great time to be a K/S fan!

Big well done to Yuko & Sasha - 3 quite lovely programmes & so good to see them still holding their own!

I first saw Yuko when she was a junior skating for Japan with a Russian partner, they took part in a millennium gala at Dundonald Ice Bowl, Belfast & I have followed her career ever since. She hasn't always been the most fortunate but her love for beautiful pairs skating is still clear - she has given up so much for it.

I think Yuko has found her joy of skating again; and this win cannot help but encourage that feeling.

That was amazing performance by Yuko & Sasha and a well deserved victory. I hope they can keep performing at this level for the rest of the season. I can't remember Yuko ever smiling so much after a skate. It's great to have them back, competing with the best (and beating them), after all their injury troubles.

It's was also great to see February recycled as their gala routine. They got a very good reaction from the Chinese audience, even after defeating S/H.
