Paris Shootings and Explosions

Maybe we all should wait for official sources to tell if any group takes credit for the attack. We don´t win much casting blames.
Well, at the moment, ISIS supporters take to Twitter to celebrate attacks in #Paris using hashtag “The Caliphate State Strikes France”

Yes, their agenda is to establish their own Caliphate by attacking everyone who doesn't agree with them, be it the West or other Muslims. I just heard in the local news that there is a group trying to gather other smaller terror cells in my region under IS and plan attacks in Southeast Asia. :(
SouthEast Asia? But in SouthEast Asia there are a lot of terrorists groups. I mean in nearly every country there are some, I only do not now of Muslim terrorist group in Vietnam and, I think, in Singapore. But in all other countries I think there are some.

There are. But now they are trying to gather all of them into one bigger group. And these terror groups don't really care who you are. They'll attack and have attacked indiscriminately.

Supporters aren't the official spokesperson for a terrorist group.
True. Some think these attack were work of al Qaeda, on the other hand IS did talk recently about attacking France.
Anyway, whoever it is, I hope they get the bastards.

This is absolutely terrible. I can't believe that there are still some people in the world who actually do these kinds of things. I am devastated for all of the losses and for all of the people who are suffering from this.

As for TEB, I will try respecting the decision that the ISU decides to make on this. However, unlike Worlds or WTT, it's extremely difficult to move the date of a GP event over, especially if the SP had already been done. So I do understand that it's very hard for them to cancel the event:confused2:.

hmm, I don't know whether to be glad or not. Myself I think that there would be no further attack in Paris. IS said (on 15 March this year) that they attack Paris first, then Rome and then Spain). On the other hand better safe then sorry. On the third hand:biggrin: .... if there would be no competition then terrorists will win.

Are you sure they claimed they would attack Spain later? Do you have the link to this information?

This is twitter link, and yes, they did.
"Laith Alkhouri ‏@MENAanalyst 36m36 minutes ago
(1) In a March '15 audio, #ISIS spokesman #Adnani threatened: "we want to take #Paris, before Rome and before Andalusia." #ParisAttacks"
I am not sure how reliable this info is.
Laith Alkhouri is analyst in MENA (link to his bio is here https://www.flashpoint-intel.com/about-us/our-team/)

I don´t know if this post if ok, a journalist that lives about the emergency exit of the venue where most of the victims where, took video as people where running, he says that he openned the door of his building so people could take cover there. He was hurt with gun shot in the leg and is waiting to be operated.

The video is very strong.

mmmm politics are complicated. And ISIS work in a way that the death of one becomes an instrument to recruite and get more followers.

It´s already confirm that it was an ISIS attack?

I can't imagine this is not connect with ISIS and the jihad. The Russian were "punished" for blowing up St. Petersburg plane and after this...But why Paris? Can anybody knows the reason?

Bordeaux is about 600km away from Paris, the things being decided for Paris are for Paris only at this moment.

Two of my friends from US are at TEB, and I was supposed to go, but I saw how far away it was from Paris, my favorite European city, and I didn't have the time to stay back and spend a few days in Paris. Had it been in Paris I would be there right now. So I ended up scratching those plans. I can only imagine what is going through their minds, though it looks like the airports will take them back to the US on time. I hope they don't cancel the rest of the competition. It's so far from Paris. It's like if NYC gets attacked, do we cancel a competition in Maine? I am so glad I'm not over there. And I wish everyone well.
