OMG OMG OMG I can't believe it !!! He DID IT ! He just delivered his cleanest Chopin with TWO QUADS !! I was a bit sad with the change of the spins that were perfectly matched with the music, but no , THIS PROGRAM IS PERFECTION.

I was in class when I saw the reports and the MASSIVE SCORE, I had a hard time to hold back my excitement !! And watching the program gave me goosebumps !!

We survive this !! Lets make a GIANT GROUP HUG :ghug:

I can't wait to see the free.... He's on fire, I don't wanna jinx him but I can't help dreaming of the 300 points....

oh everyone!
he seemed bigger at the venue.
i thought something special was going on during the performance!:ghug:big hug!

Congratulations Yuzuru on a clean SP/new WR and congratulations hamaguri (and KansaiPJ too?) for witnessing it live!
:bow::hap93::yahoo::dance2::peace:

Legend Hanyu, doing 4T-3T in competition after 4 years and bam! gaining 2.57 in GOE (much higher than his 3A GOE)

Renewing energy for the next fight. Thanks to all the reports. Is Yuzu! Trusting, trusting and always relying on their potential.
Congratulations Yuzu! New World Record 106.33 points. Fantastic!

So happy for Yuzuru! At last a clean skate of this SP. And his ending "face" was as fierce as the one at the close of his now legendary 2012 Worlds LP. I remember Brian saying that with a clean Chopin, Yuzuru could score 105, and this was when the lay-out just had one quad so I think Yuzuru can still score higher with this program with the added difficulty.

Ok now I want him to have a great SEIMEI skate and fulfill what Johnny W. said that a great total score for him would be 300 (100 SP and 200 FP). Will pray some more.

I recorded the eurosport 2. Dutch commentary (we get both Dutch and English)
Wunderkind. Local hero.
Like Kovtun, he's going for two different quads, salchow and toeloop. Here comes the salchow... quad, yes. Here the toeloop, nicely jumped from passes, quad T, 3T. Very good! And those passes he didn't have to do, they are purely transitions, very, very good. Last jump, from transitions, 3A, beautiful.

Yuzuru Hanyu, Olympic champion, and what a difference from the SP at SC. This was phenomenal, fantastic, really not just only the technical elements that worked, but when it really works, then everything is connected with another, no long preparations towards the difficult elements, nothing like that, everything is tied together with transitions, with passes, with skating movements, met [moons] [[[[(I have no idea what the lady is saying here, it sounds like the English word moans, but it's Dutch and probably spelled moons, if it IS even a Dutch word.)]]]]
The [moon] or [mode] saved him a little after the first jump, because he was a bit overturned, [... I'll continue here after the ladies SP, the lady keeps talking about mode or moon or... anyone a clue what she might mean?

Yuzu doesn't even need 200 points in the free to break 300. If he has the same skate he had at GPF 2014 then he will reach it! (Reminder he fell in that program and had only 2 quads ;))

Maybe moon = spread eagle?
He was a bit short on the 4S (but within the quarter turn), the spread eagle helped him rebalance himself. Really brilliant plan too - checks off a bullet point for GOE and as B.esp put it can be kind of a safety net.

I bet it was "mond" or something close to it because in Polish spread eagle is called "mond" and it's not a polish word. The same goes to loop which in Europe is called Rittberger.
