I love her answers too, she has a really sarcastic and sometimes even dark sense of humor, it is great. Most important it seems clear she really is enjoying Sochi so far :) I also like some of the questions she answers a bit more 'earnestly' like when she says that other than family peace of mind is most important to her.

I think it is very kind of her to communicate with the fans in this way.
 
I don't know if I'm reading this correctly, but in one of the answers she implies that she is flat-footed?!!

:shocked: If so, then EPIC RESPECT. Most people born with flat-feet find it difficult and painful to walk for long distances, let alone run or skate.

I remember reading once that she had issue with the arches of her feet and it was severely intensifying her boot issues.

That would be the issue as people born with flat-feet have little to no 'arch', which leads to many difficulties. A relative of mine has flatfeet, he loves basketball and has the height for it, but can't run/walk for a prolong period of time, plus he can't jump very high (no spring, lands like a rock).
 
This photo shows Yulia's feet are flat.

Though I cannot understand every word on her Ask.fm page via google translate, I feel she still maintains a very cool but warm personality. :love:

I think Deniss is back in Latvia because Latvian Championships are next week (or a week after next? don't know). Otherwise he would have been there.

I literally cannot wait for pics with them together! ;)
