Though I do love Yuzu's Ex this season, I can see that it might not be something everyone will enjoy watching every time. It's definitely something to connect with emotionally and I understand if Kurt wants something a bit different. I'm up for another program like Change. Or even if he just did Change again to be honest, I adore that ex.

^^

The only one I perosnally like better than 3F is spreadeagle-3A-spreadeagle, but Yuzu doesn't do it too often. And his 3A-1lo-3S usually looks really cool on ice too. These are my top ones, but I agree that the entries with revolutions to quads make them special.

I LOVE HIS 3A 1Lo 3S COMBINATION!!!!!! Its so effortless and just amazing

I've been rewatching the GPF, and you know what my favorite jump of Yuzuru in the LP is? I think it's his 3F. The comentators mention a 3A "out of nowhere" but the 3F is really out of nowhere. It looks as though he's going into just a revolution on ice, or maybe a twizzle or a spin, but there's a jump instead. And if I remember correctly it was the same last season with POTO. Like, blink and you miss it, because there really is no set up at all.

You are right ! Amazing jump ! :)

If your wife does something, you better follow, lest you get no dinner at home. :slink:
Lols!!! So it's tiger wife and cat husband? (As in fierce and more assertive wife and compliant and gentle husband?)
What are Brian and Mr Kikuchi doing to Pooh? https://twitter.com/GeumNa/status/678525667911204865

Look like changing Pooh's diaper. [emoji23]
Hahahahas!!! Are they supplying Pooh with tissue papers?

I have to agree his flip is always so sudden! Never see it coming and he just jumps it and lands it!

I read several pages here talking about the jumps in the programs. I hope the ISU may limit the number of jumps for each program in order to maintain the health and safety of skaters. I believe that in this sport there needs to be a perfect balance between safety. technique and art, which embody the music and the program in all its essence.
Praying that our beloved Yuzu reach your goals in JN. That the blessings of God be upon him. Yuzu do your best, stay healthy and happy. Does anyone know inform the schedules of each competition?

Is this the same show we knew about, or is this something new? Hanyu-san is participating in "New Year On Ice" in Osaka Jan 16/17. Again, amazing cast!
No, it's new, actually. He has one the week before, if I recall. I just hope he goes back to Canada after this. But his participation in 4CC seems less and less likely if he's doing ice shows at those moments. Oh well, we never know. He may still go, 4CC will be just 1 month after that.

Can I cross my fingers and HOPE for V_E_R_T_I_G_O as his ex? (I don't mind dying further if that's granted. I mean Yuzu's given me what I wished for so far--Like a world record at 20 and another at 21)

I really didn't think about comparing them (and I was a bit too busy crossing my fingers about whether he'll land them for that, lol) but now that I think of it, perhaps 4S was bigger? But it might have been because of the fact that he jumped it in my corner... His 4T from a distance seemed quite big as well, it was a really close call.

Excuse me---STUPID question here:scard8: But--ahm...IF--just IF Yuzuru decides to be the first to do a 5S or 5T (yeah-that's not a typo. I really meant the Quint jumps), can he do it right away if he wants? Or--does he need to jump all Quads (4S,4T,4L,4A,4F,4Ltz) as a requirement? I'm sorry I don't want to ask this in some technical thread discussions since too much explanation makes my head BLEED Can some kind soul give me a brief answer, please?

He can do it right away, no requirement to jump all types of quad.

However, I don't know if it would be a valid element in a competition, since quintuple jumps do not exist in the ISU's scoring lists! (quad axel does though...!)

Oh- arigatou for taking the time to answer:bow: So he doesn't have to go through the agony of the rest of the quads to be the first skater (like EVER) to land a Quint jump? That's very good to know. Although too bad about the ISU scoring system.Maybe they should start thinking about the possibility? LOL!!How much points would it cost if--say..a 5S cleanly landed!:eeking:

Yeah, I think they would if anyone started landing them (or attempting them) in practice.

Like 4A - I think that's only in there now, because Hanyu was attempting them in practice a while ago - I don't think anyone has ever attempted one in competition yet.
