As I'm organizing my Yuzu media files (seems to be a never-ending task for me), I wanted to share some HD files with our members here. I know not everyone is interested in large size files but I think some of Yuzu's amazing performances definitely deserve some love from our harddrive space :luv17: Hey instead of watching from the small youtube window you can hook these files up on TV to get the full enjoyment of the magical Yuzuru moments

mediafire folder: https://www.mediafire.com/#n1c0az7c1ul5w

Files included:
Olympic SP - CBC (720p), BBC (720p), NBC (720p60 ts file - Johnny & Tara), NBC (1080p ts file - Scott & Sandra)
Olympic Team SP - CBC (720p60 ts), NBC (720p60 ts)

all files from 2015 are 1080p ts format:
2015 NHK SP - NBC, Eurosport Russian & British Commentary (select audio channel 2 for British commentary)
2015 NHK FS - CBC, NBC, Eurosport Russian & British Commentary
2015 GPF SP - NBC, Eurosport Russian & British Commentary
2015 GPF FS - CBC, CBC No Commentary (they showed this again during the Gala broadcast), NBC, Eurosport Russian & British Commentary

The 2015 CBC and NBC files are recorded by myself, and all other files I have downloaded from BT sometime ago. I think for the Olympic files most of the original sources are not active anymore, hence I wanted to share with you all my treasure :)

These files are huge and they are still being uploaded to mediafire at the moment, files highlighted in blue are yet to be uploaded, I'll update this thread to reflect the progress.

Good luck to Yuzuru on Japan Nationals! :hap10::hap10: and early Merry Christmas to you all!

Thank you so much for sharing! This sure beats downloading the dailymotion/youtube videos! Question though, I can't seem to find the GPF videos in that folder, am I looking in the wrong place?

I do hope he does well at nationals.

I also hope (and am praying) Yuzuru does well there and continues to make my Christmas "merry and bright." :) Despite his trove of titles, we all know how important being national champion of Japan is to him. I don't think he has a FP there in all the times he won which satisfied him yet. What better program than SEIMEI for him to finally achieve that at Japanese nationals. Go Yuzuru!

Going back to his NHK and GPF SEIMEI performances, I was struck at how manly he has become, not just physically (e.g.,the neck no longer seems like a slender stalk, more muscles on his frame) but in his overall aura, which sends a sexy vibe. Thus I was not surprised when I heard Kurt Browning's comment that Yuzuru "controls the stage with a sensual touch" nor by Jenny Kirk's cougar comments ;) in the TSL GPF recap. This despite SEIMEI obviously not being intended to be "sexy" as PW was.

On another matter, sharing this praise of Yuzuru by Evgenia Medvedeva from a post by quique. Many thanks to him/her.

EM: I admire him. He is a fantastic person, I've never seen anyone like him before. Skating is literally his life! It doesn't matter what's around him. He does quad loop without any warm-up, I don't even understand why he doesn't include it in his programs yet. He is completely calm when he's doing it. I just admire him, what he does is incredible.

As I posted before, the Russian wonder girls seem to have a soft spot for the Japanese golden boy.

I know that many of you don't like the anan pictures, but honestly, the biggest problem I have here are those pants :laugh2: I mean seriously, who thought even for a second that quilt-leggings are a good idea? Or are the jammies supposed to go with the bed head? I don't really get that
I didn't even notice the pants - must've been too distracted by his face
Honestly the question has been bothering me eversince I've read somewhere(I don't even remember) that HE WANTED TO BE THE FIRST TO DO SOMETHING. My mind just added--What? Something like a quint? Don't you dare---Yuzu!! Just leave it for your future little Hanyu to do!
He doesn't need to go to quint stage for that; 4Lo will do. Unless someone beats him to it I guess, Boyang or Max Aaron or Javi.

I'm really hoping next season that he'll brave the 4 loop in the GP. That's the least riskiest place to do it and get comfy with it.

In other news, my bff has caught "Hanyu Fever" lol. She's only ever a casual fan but she thinks Yuzu is exceptional. She's been watching videos of him, but I'm sending her stuff to make sure she isn't missing the best lol.

Yes, I've sort of seen that too  they seem to admire him and look up to him a lot (I still remember, when I watched the 2011 COR Gala, Yulia's surprised face when Yuzuru landed his 3A+3A+SEQ). And from what many people say, Yuzu is a type of person you don't run into very easily (As Evgenia said, and Shae Lynn's "he moves different in the world") so that certainly makes an impression on everyone who meets him.

I think he will definitely include 4Lo in the LP next season, probably not in the SP yet. (It depends on the consistency of his 4Lo.) He might even try a 4-quad LP.

Thank you so so much! I personally love downloading figure skating programs in HD. And finding Yuzu's SP with different commentaries is so hard. Thank you for putting it all together!
I agree, it's unfortunate the North America broadcast rarely shows the SP programs. So it is a nice surprise that NBC showed his SP at both the NHK and GPF performances!

That's because the GPF files are still being uploaded, my uploading speed is not very fast so it's taking it's own sweet time with the files. I do expect them to finish in the next few hours though.

Awesome :) Thanks so much for uploading the videos.

So theoretically, the highest achievable TES for jump layout for the current generation is:

4Lz
4Lz + 3T
4F
4F + 3Lo
4Lo
4S
4T
3A + 1Lo + 3Lz

7 quads and 4 triples.

A little correction: I don't think it's possible to add 3Lz in combination as second jump, so he'll have to stick to 3A + 1Lo + 3S ;)
It'll be interesting to see if Yuzu will include 4Lo next season or not. Depends on how training will go probably.

I don't know if Boyang (he seems better with toe jumps), Max Aaron or Javi ever tried 4Lo in training, I've heard some junior boys training it but don't remember who.

You are right. Only salchow or flip can be executed after the half loop.

Javi is reported to land 4Lo in practice but not as consistent as Yuzuru. And other guys training 4Lo I have seen their videos, well still a long way I have to say.

I really liked SEIMEI's first costume

Yeah, I love the current one with colorful embroidery. But the first one is simple and the form fits with his body… Further, it feels noble like a king or prince.

thanks!! when he says "its gonna be all right" and smiles like that, it just warms your heart , you forget your problems and believe everytihng will be fine, i loved it! and behind the scene footage there is part where they bring white shirts to him and he is like "they all look the same" :rofl2:

Yes! His gentle eyes and strong message.. He always gives me a power although this world sometimes feels like difficult place to live in.. When I see him, I want to believe something.:)
He is not particular about fashion except skating costumes! The white shirt is perfect with his porcelain skin and pureness. I love it.

Wow, now the Japanese National begins! The venue is in the northern part of Japan and it's very cold, from i've heard.
But the venue will be hot!

Go yuzu!:ghug:

And thank you for all the updates and comments!

Btw, someone asked about Brian cam few pages back and I came across this https://youtu.be/LScZyb4aObs fancam from GPF. It's rather short and it's of Brian, Kikuchi, and Pooh  watching the free. Watch Brian moving along to the choreography (and jumps lol) and clapping to cheer for Yuzu. Precious.

Thanks for the Briancam.

For those who wants to watch what Brian is seeing:
Start the Briancam at 0:00 and start Yuzuru's LP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWQs--Rgl4k at 1:55, to watch what Brain is seeing.

Accoring to >>THIS<<, Yuzuru should be invited to the new "Team Challenge Cup" competition, to be held in Spokane WA, USA on April 22-24 2016.

Will he accept?!
