So happy that they completed another competition with consistency! Two GPs and the GPF with clean performances. So happy for them and so happy they are back in the game!

Me too! They are getting better and better with each competition! By Worlds they might be a real threat, or at least a dark horse for a podium finish

Funny enough, two teams that stayed absolutely clean in both programmes were Katya/Dima and Shibsibs, and they were not medalled. What is all this going to?

I'm back from fairytale. They were the best. Totally podium-worthy performances. They also got highest BV from all the teams in total of both dances. The GOE, however.... But they skated first. They still showed consistency, it will pay them off, if not this season, then next.

I didn't realize that. Really satisfied with their work so far - and they should be too.

So, there was a running theory on the I/Z fan fest that the fed was posting pictures of the favorites in their instagram, by order of favoritism. And they posted a picture of S/K the other day, then posted a picture of I/Z a couple of days ago and the last picture, for the last day of the countdown was this one https://www.instagram.com/p/_pYiM_ik-6/?taken-by=ruskating
Well, some of them even thought that it would be difficult to see a picture of Bobrova and Soloviev since every discipline only had two pictures each, but now we have three for dance and this beautiful picture of them.
I'm not one to believe in theories, however, if this one is right, that's okay.

Yes, I claim responsibility for that theory...lol...However I did put a disclaimer that it is wild wild speculation... lol...but who doesn't love a good conspiracy...lol...entertainment at its finest...lol

I'm very confident that Bobrova/Soloviev will win. I was worried before Skate Canada, even more before NHK, and the most worried I was in Barcelona. But now they showed they are consistent, have the best RW pattern from all Russian teams, can hit the levels in FD, and have very good dances (even Tarasova loved their dances, and HOW they skated them, especially I was impressed with her comments at NHK). So no, I'm not worried...
P.S. The fact that some fans already started to complain about supposedly 'Zhulin-friendly' tech panel is ridiculous, though. After the levels some teams got from this tech specialist at CoR and at Saransk.

That "world against us" mentality grates on me, and it's the reason I don't visit some fan fests anymore. Let the teams do their best, because it's not like you can cry injustice when the skating inside the rink is not backing that up.

Really happy with another good skate - a little off in the twizzles and they need a bit of work on the Partial Step Sequence - but I liked the rest.
Happy for them and hoping for another good skate tomorrow, and may them give it all!

Twizzles were awful, not as awful as Sinitsina/Katsalapov's, but still their worst twizzles of the season. The distance between them was inconsistent and more than two arms length, and synchronisation on the second set was more than half-rotation off. BUT I just LOVE their dance jump into the twizzles, looks amazing.
As for Partial Step Sequence, it was not their best of the season too. However, still very good.
I'm happy they were clean. And I'm not upset, because I'm SURE even with all level 4s they would still be behind Sinistsina/Katsalapov (who had the skate of their life, by the way), for a reasons I'm not gonna mention in this thread
Well, it's Nationals. No surprises here. The Euros with international panels will be more objective.

I got the same impression. I think they have to fight for their FD to be the best and just hope to get as close as they can to S/K. The rest can be battled outside of Russia.
