Daisuke Takahashi

I lost the source but I definitely saw a tweet with a screencap of an interview where he said he's planning on skating more often in 2016.

You're all safe, he said he's not interested in romantic relationships at the moment.

I still have hope for my OTP Maosuke!! One day...

Didn't Mao say she prefer someone tall who's around 8 years older than she? I think I read that on Maofanforum site about 2 years ago. If so, Dai's short (no pun intended) on both accounts. But I still ship them together.

yeah i think i read that too... But hey love is blind! So maybe after years of being dear friends they will finally wake up and realise they are made for each other  (and then have figure skating god babies)

Move over folk. :laugh2: it's not your turn yet.

That's right. There is a long line and I declare myself (by rights of seniority here) first in line. :laugh2:
I am not a selfish person so I am willing to share. :)

Daisuke will be featured in the CM for Studio Ghibli's Blu-ray and DVD release of "When Marnie Was There". He will be skating to a Miyamoto Kenji choreographed piece with the song "Fine On The Outside" by Priscilla Ahn.

The CM will be released in the middle of March.

Dai mentioned that he always liked the world of Studio Ghibli and that he feels honored to be part of a project like this. Parts of the theme song's lyrics resonate with him so he wants to express that in his skating.

When he was watching the ending of the film, he could feel his tears naturally coming. It made him feel like he should like himself more, like there was something patting his back. <-- Not entirely sure of my own translation. Please enlighten if you know.
