It's really amazing to see friendships despite being competitors too.

Their Christmas Pic reminds me of the 90's/early 2000s animations.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a video of the performance yet, but I hope I do, because I think her "Imagine" EX will look even more beautiful with her hair down! :love:

I cannot identify half the people here. In the front row, I recognize Pavel Ignatenko (I think), Adelina, Adyan, Masha, Kristina, and Lena, but I don't know who the girl on the right is, and I only recognize Slava Fedorchenko in the back row (behind Kristina). Who are those other people? :confused:

Also--Did Elena Ilinykh and Slava break up? :confused: I assumed she was there since I saw him, but then I realized she's not in any of the photos, and then when I looked on her VK page, it looks like she removed a bunch of the photos of the two of them...

The girl on the other side of Lena is Lina Fedorova, a pairs skater. Lina is super adorable on periscope and speaks great English. Lina's Instagram has a cute pic of them from the party.

I noted Slava's picture were off of Elena I's Instagram so they probably are no longer a couple. I doubt Elena I was at the party since she is not in any of the photos and did not post any of her own but who knows.

That Yana is a tall cup of water!!!! Maybe Elena I. was not up for a party. Her recent twitter posts look like she has the blues. It is kinda strange though.

I looked up Yana's height, and it said she's only 170cm (like 5'7")...so either her bio is outdated, or she's wearing some huuuge platform heels. :eek:

But the rhythmic gymnasts do tend to be quite tall...I feel like the average height of the Russian girls on the 2012 Olympic team was around 5'9"... :drama:

Anyway, I still haven't been able to find a video of Lena's performance from the CSKA hockey match, but I found this little fan-cam clip here:

Here's a clip from 2012 from Japanese TV! They went to visit CSKA.
At 0:35, TAT yells "[Do it] With feeling! Because it's not fast."

Then the male reporter says "Tarasova is scary. Even though I had no reason to talk to her directly, even standing this close to her made me nervous." :rofl:

0:53: "Among the skaters, there is an amazing girl." [Caption says "prodigy girl."]
"She can easily do even difficult jumps (3-3 combo)."
All the ladies go nuts about Lena being cute "kawaii~~!" and are impressed by her flexibility and her dance moves. :biggrin:

Then they want to know how she developed this technique and artistry, so they ask her how she practices, and Lena says she practices skating for 3 hours and does ballet lessons.

That's what I can't quite understand--Lena seems to have taken lots of ballet classes, and yet her posture is still bad. It boggles my mind. :confused2:
Hopefully, continuing to work with Lyudmila Vlasova (former Bolshoi prima!) will help. :agree:
