I hope Hanyu didn't watched US nationals, because if yes then I guess he is going to put that 4Lo as 4th quad :sarcasm:

I thought the statement should be, "I hope Hanyu didn't watch US nationals, because if he did, he may NOT want to put that 4Lo, since a four quad program is inferior to a quad-less one.

The articles has good points, tho I disagree with them on Nath should have been on podium after the SP, since Adam (and Ross) are more complete skaters.
But back to Yuzu, I'm pleased to see another skater having Yuzu has a model. I just hope he'll be careful with the quads coz being still young, he's more likely to injure his body as he's still growing. Yuzu went through this and currently, Nam is quite an unfortunate example. :(

Nathan is technically on the podium since they give out pewter medal for fourth place (tiny SP medal in this case).

Okay back to Yuzu.

Were these all taken at the same time? Was this like an excursion during a competition to a forest place?

Someone help me with some of these identification

how can you mix Machida and Ten?

Johnny Weir with a chainsaw cracks me up... just NOT anything I'd ever think he would ever pick up, let alone use, lol. Mao hugging the tree is a funny one...

I can't laugh too much. I have quite a few pictures of me in/on/hugging/waving behind... trees,

As I learned recently thanks to cosmo blog, his visa to stay in Canada is valid only 6 months and once he leaves Canada and comes back to Japan he needs to wait for 2 months before going back to Canada. (I think he went to Canada August last year, so his current Visa expires in February. If he wants to stay in Canada before the Worlds in March, it's best for him to stay in Japan after NHK and spend 2 month out of Canada to get new VIsa and that is exactly what Yuzu is doing right now. )That means he can only go back to Canada after January 23rd. So I think he and his team are always planning his schedule accordingly and spending this time for prerecording of some TV programs, doing some interviews but I am sure he will go back to TCC as soon as he can.

What is cosmo blog? The 6-months is a Visiting visa often issues to people who are visiting their families in Canada. I can't imagine Yuzu with this type of visa since it's so inconvenient and there are many different types of visa he can apply. He also needs to have multiple entries since he travels all over the world for competitions.

In honor of the 2020 Olympics, they held an exhibition in Tohoku History Museum. It showcases items from past Olympian's and Yuzuru's and Shizuka's costumes are also featured. If anyone is interested in going, they're open for about a month :)

No one has mentioned this yet, an interesting fact: Yuzu's costumes are supposed to be featured on male mannequins. But he is so thin, the museum curator just can't get the costumes on the male mannequins :laugh: They had no choice but to use female mannequins instead and had to roll layers of fabrics around the breast to avoid showing the cleavage.
That's hilarious.

No wonder in the past he always looked like a kid in his dad's cloth whenever he had to dress in suits. Not only does he need taylor made suits, he needs taylor made mannequins as well

I'm sure many ladies envy his thinness

I'm not surprised. I had a meet & greet with that Madame Tussaud's wax statue. He's tiny. Like, tiny tiny. Like the kind of tiny that will never ever need an X-ray because you can just hold up a candle in front of him and it will shine right through :roll9:
And are we sure they wrapped all the mannequins? I mean, it's called boob skirt for a reason, isn't it?

Right? He probably has some work visa.

This way of speaking is unfair:

http://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/w...an-dismayed-by-new-focus-quad-jumps-1.3417813

That man who is doing three quads is not the reason for diminishing the quality of figure skating. You like it or not he is drawing more people to the sport. And FYI, putting 4 quads in the free without packing the artistry has not been rewarded yet.

It's being discussed on this thread: http://www.goldenskate.com/forum/showthread.php?58300-Chan-voices-his-opinion-in-quad-quarrel
