Yuzuru's Final Time Traveler performed on Jan. 17 (the second day of the show) will be aired as well in the complete version of New Year on Ice on Feb. 8 at TBS Channel 2

It seems so many requests have reached TBS. I heard this was the best FTT with beautiful 4S and 3A .

That's great! We could only see the jumps but it was a shame we couldn't watch the whole performance. Looking forward to it

Although I posted about the complete version of NYoI on Feb. 8, I've started being worried whether it would be a full performance or a digest. It should be full. Otherwise tremendous number of complaints would be sent to TBS like bombs for sure.

From what I understand :

- First on Jan. 31 TBS will be airing the first show (01/16) (at least the performances listed here. Not sure if everyone is on the list. )

- Then on Feb. 6, a "complete version" will be aired, which seems to mean the 01/16 show (same as 01/31) + interviews of skaters + Yuzuru's Final Time Traveler performed on Jan. 17 (+ his 4Lo etc.) because they have received a lot of requests. Full program here.

But maybe I didn't understand well, after all I'm not Japanese

since I've already shown off my previous attempts at making artsy stuff, I'll just post this one here as well

I had actually planned to do a Seimei canvas. But I "misplaced" one of my bling boxes. I know I have a box somewhere with several kinds of golden pearls, paint and other stuff, but for the life of me I can't remember where I put it. And I can't always buy new material whenever I don't find something. I already have way too much stuff anyway so I had a look at the materials that I could find and did a Final Time Traveler version instead: [1]-[2]-[3] Unfortunately it's impossible to get a decent picture of it. In reality it's a lot more glittery and the colors blend better.

I sure hope he'll skate to another classical music next season, i actually would love to see yuzu skate to nessun dorma, i love this piece and i know its overused but this is a dramatic piece that i think yuzu would be able to perform well?

I remember I’ve heard that at the shows this summer, he stared at Shoma and Stephane’s nessun dorma, which gets us expecting yuzu’s future nessun dorma… Of course, it’s piece of Shizuka whom he respects.

I want Beethoven 7 movement 2 or Schubert unfinished symphony movement 1.

Both of them well fit with him, especially Schubert unfinished symphony…

Luckily I have those in stock. Most of my pictures have always been just a mess of colors with lots and lots of glitter and rhinestones so his costumes are just the perfect model for my purposes

Seimei's music being performed live as a background to Yuzuru's performance at Skate Canada. I was surprised they chose the Skate Canada's version as it isn't his best, but nevertheless the live music creates an interesting atmosphere.

Yuzuru's issue of ANAN (December) sold over 300,000 copies , which is a 30%-40% increase from average sales. 20,000 copies were reserved on Amazon Japan during pre-sale.

In honor of the 2020 Olympics, they held an exhibition in Tohoku History Museum. It showcases items from past Olympian's and Yuzuru's and Shizuka's costumes are also featured. If anyone is interested in going, they're open for about a month

No one has mentioned this yet, an interesting fact: Yuzu's costumes are supposed to be featured on male mannequins. But he is so thin, the museum curator just can't get the costumes on the male mannequins They had no choice but to use female mannequins instead and had to roll layers of fabrics around the breast to avoid showing the cleavage.
That's hilarious.

No wonder in the past he always looked like a kid in his dad's cloth whenever he had to dress in suits. Not only does he need taylor made suits, he needs taylor made mannequins as well

And speaking of quads, I'm kind of curious on what he said to Shizuka about the QUAD AXEL!! (We have to wait until the 29th of Feb for the show but there has been a video snippet of the interview) Cross posting from the YHIB (credits to the poster Echo Cheng)

I suppose he keeps this unique costume style of him which inspires your talent even when he gets older in the future.
