Igor sounds like he has long-time plans for IZ even though he isn't sure if they'd be able to stay with him or not. I hope they will.
And it's nice to know that Kustarova and Igor are not the rivals battling for the same team but are eager to cooperate in any way to do the best for the guys.
Another interview with Igor.

Good interview.
Too bad Lena was ill for a week, travel, stress.... maybe they'll get some vacation in May, after the "interniship" ends.
I'm excited to see what Igor will do with them.
I assume the plan will go something like this (similar to SK with Zueva):
1. Igor has till May to present "improved" IZ or "new IZ" to the Fed (in private or public...)
2. At that point the Fed decides if Igor will really be a benefit to IZ
3. If the Fed is satisfied with their potential with Igor, IZ stay with Igor.
I can't imagine that if Igor repackages IZ and the Fed likes it that they would go back to Kustarova.
4. If the Fed doesn't see any great potential in Igor's repackaging, IZ will go back to Kustarova.
My hope is that Igor will repackage IZ well, I like his style and his approach, so I have full confidence.
A new interview from Rostislav Sinitsin with his point of view on Frida and the coach change:

For me the Russian ID deserve the state that is in. Because of so much interests, public speaking of bulshits for home teams, interests, ill decisions, interests, misjudgement, interests, money, interests, interests. I just hope no more bad things for the good teams. Hope Karma knows it's work.
:noshake:!! I feel a movie in the making a couple years from now. LOL.Meldonium got into Bobrova's system sometime between the SD and the FD at Europeans. So the metabolization of the drug wasn't the problem.Did they not know that Bobrova was taking meldonium from fall through the start of winter? Did they really not understand how meldonium is metabolized by the body, given that it was going to be banned come January 1? Do they know what it means to play fair? Are they really that clueless ??:noshake:!! I feel a movie in the making a couple years from now. LOL.

I think that the Russian Fed didn't help I/Z much this season. One could say that they should have intervened at an early stage. Maybe they let them have too much artistical freedom, when they'd actually needed more guidance in order to be successful. The scores at the Moldovian Tournament were a huge problem, they thought they were on track when they weren't. Frida didn't grab the attention of the audience and the judges immediatly. I liked the program, but the polish wasn't there.
Igor is a sly coach. And he did change C/B's FS. What I want to say: with a coach like Igor we'll never see a program like Frida again. Good or bad? Everyone's own decision. But the results should get better.
Wow! They look great!Lena is posting so much on her facebook, twitter and instagram it's hard to keep up! They seem to be having a great time in Novi. This is my favorite of everything she has posted: https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.ne...=6d39f737603b1a7e8d99b20145df8dba&oe=577E5B2B
