I'm on the plane and there is a huge Japanese tour? Group here. From all the Mao-Chan's and Sendai/yuzuru something's I hear, they're all attending worlds too![]()

So the main reason for the two quad sal in LP is because of his left foot injury? No wonder his quad toe is off these days.
.
After reading this, I don't know my feels at all...We jinxed it with all the 'first time not injured going into worlds!' talk :scard8:
So it's not a serious injury but it's the reason his quad toe has become less reliable. And he’s seen Hanyu through his latest injury, a minor one involving the instep of his left foot which prevented him for seven weeks from landing toe loop jumps. Hanyu in the past season, has done two quad toe loops (and one quad Salchow) in his free program.
Because of the injury, Hanyu has been training to do five quad Salchows between the short and the long. “So the quad Salchow kind of found its way,” Orser said. And the happy accident of all this?

So that spanish blogger ¿? was right. Anyway he is fine now so let's not worry![]()
There's still one practice session left early in the morning, though perhaps he'd rather skip it and save energy for the moment of truth. So it's not a serious injury but it's the reason his quad toe has become less reliable.
I have all the practice videos of this season here, compare his quad toe here in practice to NHK and GPF, it is not as good. And I am talking about the quality and consistency of 4T in practice only. There is a reason he switched for 4S and it's not just because of 0.22 point. It's easier for him to do good 4S than good 4T at this time. His 4t has never been his most reliable jump. (I think that's why his 4t often fails under extreme pressure.) Even when he has no injuries, his 4t is on and off. But compared to other male skaters, his 4t is very consistent. His 4t success rate is the highest among all male skaters. It's just that 4t is not his most reliable jump. His edge jumps (except 4S before this season) are always more reliable than his toe jumps. His edge jumps like 3A, 4S (starting from this season), 3Lo are much more reliable than his 4t, 3Lz and 3F. (3F is actually his most reliable toe jump. But it did fail at the Olympics.)
Yes, let's send him good vibes so he may have a great performance tomorrow! There's still one practice session left early in the morning, though perhaps he'd rather skip it and save energy for the moment of truth.

Sooo excited. Think it is a great draw for yuzu. He will know (if he chooses to know) how others have done, and if patrick goes clean that will be the perfect motivation for him since he follows him.
It looks like all the top skaters could be live on cbc.... yes!

Oh, please share your work if you like. I remember you posted your picture around around the last summer.(I have tons of fanart left to upload but I'll do that hopefully when I'll have more time between assignments and classes)

Wrong again, when he is healthy his 4S hasn't surpassed his 4T at all. Yuzuru chose to jump two 4T and one 4S from the beginning of the season, and you still think his 4S is better while he placed it first? The first 4T is right after 4S, Not to mention the second 4T is in the second half. His 4S was better than his 4T since the beginning of this season (or even last season when he landed the 4S). His 4S has already surpassed his 4T since the beginning of this season, in terms of quality and consistency. So sooner or later, he will replace some of less consistent jumps with 4s (or 4Lo when his 4Lo becomes consistent).
Seems like Hanyu can never catch a break at worlds :noshake:. Too bad worlds doesn't happen in December![]()
Going 29[SUP]th[/SUP] is great, judging by previous competitions, Yuzuru is motivated by other skaters and does well. Yes, I can't wait until the livestream tomorrow! I also prefer watching CBC and I'm rather that glad Worlds is in North America this year because I can keep up with watching events without loosing sleep.![]()
Thanks, I just uploaded a portrait of Yuzuru to wish him good luck at Worlds!(and a lot more to come)
Strong line of brush, shade, especially his focused eyes! (I guess it’s most difficult part) . Very positive and determined. I'm going to be in Boston tomorrow for the men's short! Also I'll be there all weekend for the ladies' final, men's final, & exhibition! I can't wait!

Because 4T were more consistent until now. When a skater put the same jump twice in the program vs the jump he only put one, it's so obvious which one is the one he's more consistent at.
