Just my thoughts. First and last time to mention this in this forum:
- Hanyu has the right base to say what he had said, given that it's not a single incident and he had some prove to say it and he made his effort to deal with it in a private context but in vain.
- I admire him and I am proud of him even more for not avoiding to voice out something really important. To me it should be very much appreciated to have some one who is fearless enough to raise the issue about skater's sense to safety matter. Be considerate to everyone, we need to pay attention to it. He did the unlikable thing, but it's needed.
- He's a human being so of course he has emotion. Given to the situation and his effort to play it down beforehand, I don't blame him on his outburst. He managed that emotion during SP, not sure if he can do it in FS, but I certainly hope he can and have to believe that he will.
- Overall speaking, it's wrong to sweep the trash under the carpet but I know it's getting complicated and juicy so I just shut up. However at least I feel the need to say it out just once so people can at least have one chance to look at the picture, face the issue, in a serious manner. I expected failure of course, but it's also a needed try imo.
Done for this topic.
I have just found I missed the meet up probably. :noshake: So I might die in the arena tonight without at least seeing any of you...
