I'm glad that Karne "get" Yuzu after watching him in Boston and she posted regards to LP "Hanyu: Shock. That's all I can say. I was shocked. The poor seven year old sitting in the row behind me was shattered. She was sobbing. I couldn't believe it....."

My friend said Yuzuru is still immature, she said you should read the book (the new one) to see why. She said he has repeated his mistake from time to time. She said 3 of his biggest fault is: over-thinking, over-confident and over-train

I agree that Yuzuru over-trained himself too much in the last practice. He jumped too many quads in a row. And I am sure he beat himself up a lot too. And yes his pride is a double sword. I think sometimes yes he is over-confident because of his achievements. But I don't think he is arrogant. He practiced so much and yet the result...

I am sorry, I am angry and sad and devastated at the same time. I think I also need time to fix my mind too.

Hi everyone!

I'm shocked. I was 100% sure Yuzuru will win this with a good performance. I was expecting him to shine in Boston, after last year's worlds i was SURE about this. It was his best chance, maybe even his last ( at least his statistics say so, but the statistic was obviously wrong this time). I'm actually angry he let himself beat by Fernandez. It just can't be. I were ok with everyone else with better skating quality, but this is a joke. And haters are proved right. :disapp:
But i am a person who believes everything happens for a reason- if something goes wrong, that's bc there is something better for you waiting. And if this means Yuzuru has to sacrifice his world titles to win a perfect (next) olympic, then it's okay.
It's just a nightmare right now:bang:
He had a chance to show what a great skater he is and he screwed it up. I'm not okay with this, it's so embarrassing :hopelessness: :sad14:

Sorry for my english :shame:

Please , stop blaming Yuzu.

If he is not at fault then who? You know me. I love him a lot. But we can't blame this on anyone's else. It was totally his fault. His mind was not there. He jumped like hell in practice and warm up and in the end he messed up.

Ok I need to say this...I get that we're sad and quite shocked but saying that his silver medal and performance are "embarrassing" is just wrong. I'm also sad but he can't win everything.....We need to send him good vibes and wish him luck for next season.

I'm not sure what I'm feeling right now. I really thought after the SP this couldn't go wrong anymore.

I don't want to feel bad. I like Javi's program, he deserved every point. But it makes me feel so sad that for the second year in a row, that over the whole season, Yuzu clearly was the better skater, and it just doesn't come out at Worlds. I don't like Chan, but after watching his FS, I get the impression maybe he and Yuzuru have somewhat of the same mental issues (okay, that's a big word, mental issue, but clearly "something" they both do, overthink, overtrain, whatever it is, and when it really, really matters, it goes wrong... although Chan didn't use to have this).

This FS simply was not necessary.

I am particularly sorry for all the Yuzu fans who were there in the arena in Boston. I consider myself extremely lucky that I had the privilege to see him skate two great programs at the past two GPFs, and I really wished for all the fans over there to experience this live, too.

Heigh-ho, and then it's another long wait until Helsinki. Third time's the charm, surely? :ohwell:

LETTER TO YUZU

BTW, does anyone write to yuzu? Keeping competing as an Olympic champion after taking all measure titles must be much tougher than we imagine. Showing our keeping supports must have a power (I've never written to yuzu, but this time i'm decided to do.).
Short message is also OK. He takes one month off this time and have time to read fan letters. Yuzu is the person who cherishes his fans more than else.

thanks very much. i will write to him :) i really want him to know that how much he has changed my life. when i feel down, his skating cheer me up. now its time for us to cheer him :console:what happened today does not diminish what he has achieved. life is all about learning experience. i believe...he will get the gold back. yes, he will. time will tell :agree:

No , I don't know you. So when Yuzu wins it's because he has a wonderful team, but when he loses....

Yuzu wants to win with clean or almost clean performances, he's perfectionist. This time he had an off day and just wasn't in " his zone". I'm sure he's frustrated and angry but at the same time happy that Javier won with the best program of his career.

Yuzu said himself that it was a mental problem, not a physical one.

Yuzu has the right to blame himself, but we, as fans, do not.

Expectation and failure to meet the expectation can lead to disappointment, but again, fans choose to have expectation.

Why do we have to blame someone?

THANK YOU is what i have chosen to deliver to you Yuzuru Hanyu. What you have done to this sport, you bring new light and hope. The greatness of you is unjustice to be looked by just 1 or 2 competitions. You are human, like the rest of us. Human is not robot. Human makes mistakes. Human has soul, feelings, and emotions. So once again, thank you Yuzuru You won more than any medals, you won hearts .

STILL FARTHER AHEAD

He knows the reason why he messed up. Whether he wins or loses, I am still his fan. But I feel sad because he is sad.
