i find some of the comments in this thread very depressing. Who cares how many World titles Yuzu has? Yuzu changed the way men skate now in some way and opened the door to the 100 barrier in the short, the 200 barrier in the free and the need to at least put 2 quads in the short and 3 quads in the free. He had shown that great technical difficulties could be mastered and mixed with great artistry, or at least a charisma no else has. He showed us 5 flawless skates this season that have already become history. People in the whole figure skating world are in awe with him and still consider him as 'the best ever', even though he has less world titles than Chan and Fernandez now or won his Olympic gold with a flawed performance. Because they acknowledge him as a fearless pioneer and a perfectionist. Yuzu always adds up difficulties to himself and is not afraid of pushing the boundaries. It's what makes me both admire him and what usually frightens me so much about him. But he is who he is. He's always been like this. And most importantly: he's human!!! He wanted such a flawless performance that his mind broke down a little too soon. And yet this takes nothing away from his achievements.
