I'm still in disbelief that I actually saw Yuzuru skate live!

You being awed and gushing despite Yuzu having a rough skate really has prompted me to make a goal see Yuzu live next season. If Yuzu managed to sit in K&C after the FS, I should also have enough courage to sit in the competition to watch him live :yes2:

Well we'll have to see about Skate America. I mean I'm not sure where it'll be next season/who'll be skating (USFSA hurry up with location announcement!).

Surprised to hear Yuzu will stay in Tronto to heal his instep problem, instead of going back to Japan where he normally goes to get medical treatment. I think it is good thing to do, coz he can avoid media attention and also spend time discussing about next program and his overall training strategy with his team in Tronto while he needs to be off ice for treatment.

I was thinking the same thing
Some evil voices could say the Injury is an excuse and he is hiding in Canada :rolleye:

A more detailed translation of an interview after Worlds (a summary was posted previously) . Credit: @yuzuland tumblr

Q: What do you want to eat right now, after the tough competition?
Y: Right now….I knew you may ask what I want to eat to relax but right now all I want to skate more than eating anything.

On his second place finish at Worlds:
Y: I have a lot of regretful feelings, but at the same time I also found many tasks and room for improvement in myself. I am a lot more regretful than everyone thinks; I want to do more training before next season and be stronger.

Yuzuru was not satisfied with his almost perfect performance in NHK Trophy and GPF. Even before the competition, he said “[the performance] is not perfect yet. I am practicing because it is not perfect.” However, it was the word “perfect” that put pressure on him.

Y: I strive for the perfect performance [of the programme] too much. Last time when you interviewed me in Toronto, I said “there is no limit, there is no limit in striving for one’s perfection.” But, in fact, considering the technical difficulty of the programme I have right now, I already got almost maximum points (in NHK and GPF). Therefore I was satisfied with my accomplishments. Precisely because in my mind I believe I had perfect performances, I was “trapped in the past”. That’s how I analysed [the reasons behind the performance on Friday.]

On next season
Y: I want to raise the difficulty of the programme, that’s for sure. In the first half of the season, I did what I wanted to do. But in the last two competitions (Nationals and Worlds), I couldn’t deliver the performances as I wanted to. I believe this must be a test from God. That’s why I have to aim higher, have to strive to be stronger even more. I feel strongly about this.

Q: You want to skate now?
Y: There is nothing I can do.This is how I am. I can’t change it even if I want to. I will cherish this kind of personality and come face-to-face with skating.

You guys seem like you could use a little OT fun :)

Getting second place at Worlds is still an amazing accomplishment and I'm as proud of Yuzu as ever! What a season he had. I can't wait to see what he brings next year....and since it's pretty much the off season......what he'll be wearing!

Camerlengo! I'll be over the moon if Yuzuru ever decides to work with him! I read in a Japanese fan blog that in a recent interview with a Japanese figure skating magazine, Camerlengo named SEIMEI as one of his favorite programs (not sure what the context is, maybe those who have the magazine can clarify what he exactly says in the interview), and besides he once expressed his interest in working with Yuzuru sometime in the 2011-2012 season.

Wow, thank you for this information, I had no idea about this!
You know, it really does depend on skater if he or she can blend in with the style of the program that is done by this or that choregrapher but I couldn't help myself but remembering a fantastic Daisuke's LP Blues for Klook, my God, one of the greatest programs I ever seen. But you know what- that was Daisulke's style, those sexy moves. IF Pasquale finds a great idea (or Yuzu comes to him with it) then who knows, who knows.:dance3:
Also- Antonio Najarro had also expressed the interest in working with him, perhaps not directly, but there was a comment on a possible collaboration left on his Twitter account which he marked with "like", so maybe, maybe... I am one of those crazy fans who loves when guys do Antonio's choreo. I loved it with Lambiel, then with Abbott and Joubert, few days ago I was all :luv17: with Javi and well... I think you get what I mean.:dev3:
