Yuzuru Hanyu: 2015-16 Season

List down 3 Yuzu's moments of the Off-season 2015 and Season 2015-2016


Thanks alia:2thumbs:, now mine is.. It was so difficult to restrict to only 3! There were many special moments he gave us!

1. The impact first we saw this Requiem costume . The discussion at that time was fun! We had various views and responded differently!
   
   
   
2. Ballade at NHK He gave us further refined ballade this season. But still, this ballade is No.1 to me. This was the first time he could get it cleanly and his joy, fulfillment and so on are found (This time, he still had no pressure to break the WR..). His fierce passion when he was entering the step sequence(3:00) is! especially I love this moment. :luv17:
   
   
   
3. Kohaku-uta-gassen Does someone have the photo of Star Wars? His kimono costume was just so noble. When I heard his appearance as a guest examiner, I’d expected that he would wear it, and he did!:yay:

To be honest, usually I don't write any comments, only read, but I still can't calm down, Yuzu's Russian fans are very worried about him and his state of mind, but we are confident that he is a true samurai and the shaman and the new season will make all one-sided (sustainable Russian expression)!!!

Welcome to the thread! I adore Tatiana's compliments to Yuzu, those are so precious and warm. Imo Tatiana herself was a legend in skating also that she's not easy to pleased of course. Then I feel her true support to Yuzu. That's everything.

I also love Yuzuru no matter what medal did he get from Worlds. In my mind he's still in his own class. Look at those programs... And I believe he'll bring more excitement to us in the coming season.

I adore her, she made this competition ten times better for me with her comments and it is always wonderful to hear how highly she thinks of him. I will honestly never forget not just her words, but tone of voice, post his SP. Shivers.
Now if someone would just like to fulfill my dream of her doing a choreo for Yuzuru and I can walk away happily into the night. (don't care for what, btw)

For Requiem costume - Though I didn't take part in the conversation but I read that and broke into laughs in craze at that time Myself actually like that a lot, but fans' reactions are just so cute!



My list then:

1. SEIMEI, GPF - Yuzu deliver clean SEIMEI in both NHK and GPF. And since I went to GPF...

2. Ballade No 1 at NHK - He got his reward for 2-season effort finally. Please just give him everything.

3. The New Year's Eve show in Japan - I have no idea what they are doing, but Yuzu was adorable enough to keep me sitting in front of the TV screen. Yeah, I did play it in the large TV screen. Bonus to it was that the show's actually quite good. My fav part was SEIMEI vs Darth Vader and his dance move together with some theme songs of anime. He looked so much like an ordinary happy 15-year-old boy. I love those smiles.

As a Finn let me laugh and comfort you. The Finns are shy, quiet, introvert and melancholy, but not sad!!! The composition "Finlandia" may sound extremely dark and sad, but it is far from that! It is a patriotic song, which tells, how a small nation has managed to repel the oppression of the enemy (Russia) and how the new, brighter dawn is coming for Finland. It is a very optimistic, but also a very solemn and touching song. Usually the Finns stand up when they listen or sing it!

Finnish people are sad! Listen to Sibelius Violin Concerto in D. The first strains of the first movement is one of the saddest melody ever composed. Sibelius was extremely depressed because he wanted to be a violin virtuoso but because he only started studying violin at the old age of 15, he could never achieve that high technical ability on the violin. He did became of the most famous composers of the 20th century. Finlandia though a patriotic composition also sounded extremely dark and sad.

As a Russian, I apologise for the oppression part... But then, my ethnic ancestors were conquered by Russians in the 16th century...
