HI everyone

Back from Worlds...here is my first blog entry of a couple topics that I have in my head that I wanted to write about. I hope this isn't the end of Seimei.

https://sportymags.wordpress.com/2016/04/05/yuzuru-hanyu-is-the-last-of-seimei/

I actually don't wish Seimei returns and even less for Olympics. It truly is a program that defines Yuzuru's carrer but I think we've seen it's potential with those two amazing world record performances. It's clear he feels a deep conection with this program but I feel we can see even better things from him.

I don't think it's a good idea to do a Japanese program in Korea.
Why? I know that japan and korea have a dark part in history. But, is the situation still that tense nowadays? I think it shouldn't matter in the sport right?
How about general view in korea about yuzu?

Totally, I still miss the old costume, it was so cool (I don't say this often with his costumes lol)

Contrary, i prefer the new costume. Call me weird, but in old costume - although i agree it was cool, all i can think is his armpits 😅😅 like- your armpits!! Why you show me your armpits?!! Why you dont have armpits hair?!! And it's totally distracting!!
Oh well, i'm such a weirdo, i ashamed 😅😅😅

I think gzyzf meant loss of monehy for the JSF, not for Yuzu.

TBH I can't see how Yuzu could get away from doing NHK. Nor would he want to, I think.
Don't you think I know WHO exactly wins the money when Yuzu is competing in Japan? Still I believe they can try and invite other stars- like Virtue Moir in plus to the names I have already mentioned. Javi will get the chance to spend more time with Miki, she wouldn't have to pay the travelling costs not that JSF cares of course.
I want CoR to invite Yuzu. Russian athletes need to learn from competing with him on the home ice too.

Thank you to everyone who posted the info on supporting messages from Yuzu sponsors! It means a lot to know that they care about their star and continue support him on his journey. :thank:

Yes! As someone says, CoR is the GS where he got his first GS title! And I remember seeing the documentary in his 16 years (first senior year). He was delighted to see the result of Russian girls fan vote where he was No.1 promising junior skater. At that time, he has a few fans overseas, so the support from abroad must have cheered up for him. CoR is definitely a good place for him.

I guess this is a news about his surgery, I don't completely understand it something reliable? :scratch2:

I haven’t watched the TV clip alia posted above and don’t know the content, but this twitter says;

It seems the yuzu’s current injury is “Lisfranc joint ligaments damage”
Specifically,
1.Accompanying (a lot of) swell
2.Difficult to differentiate it from sprain
3.One-month conservative therapy is necessary
4.It takes 2 or 3 months before he can compete

Thank you hamaguri, I hope he doesn't have to skate in many ice shows this summer

ANA's ad praising Yuzuru for his accomplishments of this season.
OK, here's rough translation by me.

Thank you for the memorable season.

It has been almost 3 years since we first met.
Even when you are going through harsh time, every time we see you on board or at airport, you always hold your head high.
But the past year has been filled with hardship.
Your training continued late into the night at Sendai and Toronto.
You go onto the ice to train even on the next day of your victory at competition.
We believe that those days of efforts and struggle which is hard to imagine from your smile, led to your great accomplishments like these astounding world records, winning GPF for three years in a row and reigning as National Champion for four years, giving us inspiration and courage.
The third season for us supporting you has been a memorable one for us as well.
Thank you.
We shall join your fans in rooting for you on the international field.

Thank you Tomoco.

@Yuzuland tumblr: It reminds me when they first had the contract with Yuzu when he was 18…“Give wings to the boy who dreams to be an Olympics champion”

Inspiration of Japan :yes2:.....thank you ANA for supporting Yuzu.

Yes.. Of course, I know he loves shows, but his health is important. Anyway, I’m sure he rethink his schedule overall after the defeat at WC. Actually, he says he will reduce his practice.

Wow! Nikkei newspaper is business paper for business person not tabloid, and recently bought UK financial times! Such a paper put the ad for about 182,000US$ for yuzu!

So that's what was bothering him- constant swelling and pain. BTW when there is a lot of swelling it is hard to see the real problem even with XRay because the swollen tissue blurres the real issue with bones or muscles. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers. He's been competing with serious injury for quite a long time. He deserves so much respect and support for fighting through.
