Yuzuru Hanyu: 2015-16 Season

Right now, Yuzu's 4t and 4s are the best among all men, in terms of both quality and consistency. It usually takes a few seasons for skaters to improve the consistency of a new quad. (Some may never be consistent.) Most of the men you mentioned haven't been doing those quads for many seasons yet. I hope Yuzuru's injury doesn't prevent him from attempting 4t in the future. It took him many seasons to improve the quality and consistency of his 4t. He can certainly replace 4t with 4Lo in the future. But without 3 types of quads, it can be a disadvantage if he wants to increase the BV of his LP. (Maybe he will try 4A.)

He did say he want to jump 4A but does not matter if in competition or not. I'm anticipating 4Lz in the near future rather than 4A. (Of course, 4L is in the soonest horizon. Haha)

I wonder if you really believe that she was interrupted “many times” by Japanese skaters at that time?, unlike Yuzuru’s case, while there are/were no evidence whatever about her words (or Korean media), if that “many times” state was true there should be something to proof about that, no?
and I didn’t know that and probably most of Japanese figure skating fans also have never heard of her apology about the issue.

Only I know is that Mao had to hold her vindication interview despite there is no proof that she actually did, before her very important competition (the worlds 2009) and these pictures say, She didn’t seem to be able to practice enough, she squatted down near the board apparently most of the time because the audience booed her in the practice at the venue. (according to her fan). :slink: Anyway, Yuna won the game like D10. imo. (but he must have lost many people's respect to him)

I don’t want to start war but as a Mao fan I felt that I needed to say something about it when I saw your comment. I know, if anything, we should blame Korean media who had spread nonsense about Japanese skaters, not her.

Aside from that, I really hope Yuzuru and even D10 will be able to practice well, without any sabotage!, during their run-through and could bring out their best at competition in the future from now on!

Actually, I remember that Yuna's fans made some videos about it and none of them shows Mao. They basically show Miki Ando, Yukari Nakano, and Fumie Suguri.

Just search Yuna and Miki on youtube and immediately found these:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMDPzAuWs6Y
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADHIbKj7Qbo

After watching these videos, I have to say that I understand Yuna's frustration. And what Yuna experienced is similar to Yuzu. Miki and Yukari did come so close so many times...and we can see Yuna's reaction and frustration right on the spot.

Can we get over the crossing things? I am so tired of this. Meanwhile no one care to talk about how difficult Yuzuru's programs are. And to be honest, I feel like some other skaters are so much overscored compared to him. :whack: Because... guess what... look at how much he did on the ice when he did jump and spin.

I agree, what he does is super hard. It's amazing how easy he makes it look.

I just watched Kiritoru. As I expected there was nothing new. But nice to see his smile again especially with Shoma and Mao:yahoo: It is so ovbious, they just want to use Yuzu clip to get more viewers.
https://twitter.com/yuippe1019 To see Yuzu Shoma video clip, you have to scroll down quite a bit, sorry I don't know how to put up the exact link.::confused:

Is the Kiritoru show different than the program that was following Yuzu for a month that is going to be shown on the 10apr?

That's why like HanDomi said Yuzu transition score should be higher than what he is getting. This kind of analysis is good to help backup that.

Not even joke of someone to skate using Finlandia as his music. Obviously you don't know that it is like a "second national anthem" for us Finns; a patriotic and deeply touching song, telling, how Finland repel the oppression of the enemy (Russia). None of the Finnish skaters would ever choose "Finlandia" to skate along.
Imagined a skater used Finlandia....that would be uber-epic. The first few bars would wake up even the deepest sleepers.

The 10apr one will have newer footages? Please please :-)
It would be similar to Spirits of Athlete (I think that was the title), The one which is a documentary following his carrier before 2013 FInlandia where he diclosed his RJ2. And how he was training at TCC, with the scene of Yuzu riding train and performing in skate show in Tronto for the first time with his PW. I might be mixing up 2 different documentary of his but I think you know which one I am talking about. It has been subtitled in CHinese, English, Korean and Vietnamese. It would be similar to that. I had seen some of Jonetsu Tairiku programs which is done for Kohei Uchimura and other OGM swimmers.

It should be very interesting with whole new footage:clapper:

It's a sports program that reads lips of various athletes and collects other interesting sports footage.
-Since Yuzu talks to himself all the time, he appears regularly.

oh thanks. I thought it was a comedy show that makes up what the athletes are saying
