Another thing I like about Sasha's skating, he's always looking ahead or above when he skates, not downwards.
Rus Nats 2013-14. 23rd Dec 2013, practice session.

Yes, that makes a great difference - especially, I think, in his connection with the audience; something he seems to be able to establish with ease.

According to one of the girls, they've already started work on new programs. It was not a comment on Sasha in particular but the group in general.

That's a good one too - but in my mind that's associated with Liza.:) (I'm peculiar in that way - well, in many ways, but never mind;) - and when I've "given" a piece to someone, it's theirs... For the Win, Cannon in D Minor, are "Sasha"'s, for example.:)) But yes, Sasha could do very well with it.:)
Okaaay.

I'm just going to reiterate what I've been saying for half a year now, my biggest wish is for him to do something full-on classical (although not the typical stuff like Vivaldi).

What about something Renaissance or Baroque?

ETA - I'm a classical music ignoramus; I've been browsing a bit on Youtube, but most of what I've come across has just been too... chirpy. This is more like what I had in mind, but doubt it would actually work:

I wanted to find something from Wagner for him but so far I haven't come across anything that's appropriate yet.
