Yuzuru Hanyu: 2015-16 Season

It would be interesting if Yuzuru pulls an "almost Yuna" like Marin said to peak for Worlds :p I still cannot process that Javier now has more Worlds titles than Hanyu (even if he was of course deserving based on the competitions). I doubt it would happen but it's a fun thought.

They did say it went deeper than the muscles? so it started by gp series, he felt something by that time .... about injury,And he says it's because he lacks constitution unlike Javier. At least this is off season and he has enough time to hit full form by autumn. Honestly I am even ok if he misses GP and just does nationals , 4cc and WC peaks for Helsinki..
True. I dream to see him at GPF since it will be in Marseille and, therefore, possible for me to see him, but I'd rather he does not do GP season for his health sake if he needs more time to fully recover.
I guess we'll know soon enough about the time necessary to recover from this injury.

On the other hand Javier doesn't have any GPF title and Olympic medal..and there is at least 2 years ahead for Yuzu. Let's hope next year is Yuzu's year.

I know :curse: :hslap: ....I was ready with my :coffee: and . I want more Yuzu :tantrum:

Yuzu :love:....yuzu . More snippets #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 --> shared @YHIFG FB

I've updated in post above

That first gif :luv17: hats suit him so well.
It saddens me to hear that his injury was more serious than he let us know at the time. I hope he is looking after himself atm and watches his condition throughout the summer so it doesn't bother him during competitions next season.

I think this was already his year (despite Worlds) but I too of course hope for more. If the "good season-bad season" pattern for Yuzuru is true, if we get a not so stellar 2016-2017 we can say that the 2017-2018 will be great and look it will be the Olympic Year. :p just kidding.

Last year I think Javi won without winning either phase, but he had the best overall score. This year he fell in the short but had the skate of his life in the long. It's just sports sometimes I guess. I knew when I saw Javi in the beginning of the season that he looked even better than before and it seemed like he was prepared to do all he could to defend his title. I think it gave him a lot of confidence. And defend he did. Yuzu's the best, but you have to bring your best that day. Here's hoping he has a couple more world titles and another olympic title to match his talent and capabilities. But if not, he's already given the sport so much and is beloved regardless of how many he has. So many skaters dream to just win it once and he's already won them all. On one hand it's crazy that it doesn't feel like enough. But when you see what he's been doing, it doesn't feel like enough.

Yes, I agree with all that you've said. :agree: It's a factor of bringing your best when it matters that counts most of the times, I think Yuzuru left his best it at the practice ice before the long. Javier knew the door was open and he went for it, I'm happy for him. I meant that it's just a weird thought the number of world titles but not the end of the world.

I actually edited it to add another sentence to that but I definitely know what you mean. Yuzu said if he repeated the same mistake then he has more to learn. Here's hoping he learns it!

His leg injury going into WC was not a minor one which made him change the 4T-3T to 4S-3T, he just did not talk about it.

So he had great pain before going into WC and hiding it. His injury was top secret.
TV crew were secretly told about his injury. But it was a top secret..While walking in the park the TV crew dared to put forward this question.."You seemes to be caring about your ankle. Is there any problem.." Yuzu said" yeah, it started to hurt beginning of this year" TV crew asked again" After WC which is the planned timing of this program to be aired, is it OK to release this information. Are you going to tell about this after the WC" Yuzu said " Well, I don't know. Maybe not."
I knew he was hiding something. And it is crucial for him now to choose the right treatment in order to solve the issue and I mean SOLVE IT if he wants another Olympic title. Even if it would mean he might lose 6 months of training& competitions due to surgery he better plan it now. Now. It is scary if you think of it but his final target is a huge one. 2 years is a long way to go, he needs to be as healthy as one can be. I'll pray for him to make the right decision.

I'd love a translation when it's available.

I hope he has patience... so many athletes don't have patience and rush themselves back into practice/competition etc.. If it's a bad injury, he needs to do whatever needs to be done to heal his injury, not just reduce the pain so he can participate in the summer shows etc., only to have it flare up again and even worse later on. Maybe it's not a bad injury and ultrasound, strengthening etc., will do the trick.... I"m hoping for that. I hope he's using his time to rest his foot, get treatment, think about programs for next season etc...
