This is the poster of travel agency. FAOI official web site is still unchanged meaning Yuzu is not officially listed.
Having said that we know already he is planning to perform in ice shows in Japan this year and if that is the case he will be in FAOI.
Last year, same thing happened. Before the official announcement came out form the organizer in late April, P&G put up the comsumer campaign to get premium ticket in FAOI and that poster had Big Yuzu.
The organizer is usually quite late in announcing it officially. I think he is very likely to be in the show, but no confirmation yet.

I thought he is injured?

Well, there are possibly many more Chinese figure skating fans out there than in any other country save Japan, so that could explain it.

But I'm not that surprised in any case, the Chinese seem to have similar sense of esthetics to the Japanese if Boyang is anything to go by.

Trust me the Chinese don't care about figure skating:laugh:I guess Japan is the only country where figure skating is a mainstream sport. I guess if you look at the absolute number, then Yuzu's jpn fans>chn fans, but if you think about proportion, I think chn >> jpn

I was disappointed FOR Yuzuru that he did not skate Seimei his best at Worlds & did not win, but I am not at all disappointed IN Yuzuru. I was privileged to see him at 3 competitions this season, including the competitive premier of Seimei at Autumn Classic, the record-breaking GPF & Worlds - & all practices that fans were allowed to see (always sitting as close to the ice as possible - so close that I could see the sweat on his neck as he flew by during the last (t-shirt) practice at Worlds). He's magical, unearthly, but he's also endearingly human, with his open expressiveness & with the fact that he sometimes doesn't skate his best, as is the case with all skaters. I think he's smart, too, & learns from his experiences. So, just as he adjusted his SP after the problems at SC, I think he'll figure out how to avoid the problems he had at Boston, so he'll be better able to succeed at Helsinki & PyeongChang (& I hope Milan/Turin, too).
I think he can say goodbye to Ballade No. 1, having broken records with it twice & having a near-perfect performance of it at Worlds. Despite breaking 2 records with Seimei, I think he will want to bring it back in some form because he didn't give it the best Worlds performance. I'm actually glad about that because I love the Seimei program & hope he uses it in the Olympic year. This coming season, I'm looking forward to 2 different programs & I hope for jazz, rock, Latin &/or symphonic.

Exactly. Like NOTHING skating-wise can make me disappointed at ANY skater. Because that's not what makes me feel a negative feelings towards anyone.

I thought he is injured?
Ice show starts at the end of May. So if the injury is just minor he can be in the show. He can do easy program. The fans would be happy enough even he just introduces other skaters. I think unless the injury is serious, he wants to be on ice. That is enough for the fans. FAOI does not have any other key star skater. So unless he is seriously injured he will be in it one way or another, I think.

Yeah I was disappointed for him. He's been killing it all season and just needed ONE more good performance to seal the deal. And I was disappointed that I wasn't able to see more of the event. He'd been amazing all week but I could only go for the free programs. I work full time and am a grad school student part time. I was in class Wednesday night for the short checking results, so it was impossible to be there despite how much I wanted to. But that's on me, not him. But after this I am really considering attending a GP event if he's assigned to America or Canada. Hopefully his injury will have recovered. Even if he's not in the best condition at that point it'll still be cool to see him more, maybe even the practices too.

It IS necessary. He should be the first one to land it in a competition. And he should hurry up, if not, someone else will do it.

He already said that he's not putting the 4loop at the future to be the first one to do it, he doesn't need to "hurry up", if he does he'll do it in his own terms. He's possibly including it because he wants to challenge himself. I said that there's no need because he could destroy any men's field with his current layout even by 2018 if he focus on clean performances but that's not an approach very "Yuzuru" (even if he does always hope for clean performances but with upgraded layouts).

His leg injury going into WC was not a minor one which made him change the 4T-3T to 4S-3T, he just did not talk about it.

So he had great pain before going into WC and hiding it. His injury was top secret.
TV crew were secretly told about his injury. But it was a top secret..While walking in the park the TV crew dared to put forward this question.."You seemes to be caring about your ankle. Is there any problem.." Yuzu said" yeah, it started to hurt beginning of this year" TV crew asked again" After WC which is the planned timing of this program to be aired, is it OK to release this information. Are you going to tell about this after the WC" Yuzu said " Well, I don't know. Maybe not."

It was too short! The documentary could have been 2 hours long and I'd have loved every minute.

My favorite bits were the back-stage antics with Nobu and Shoma. All of them imitating Shoma's Landing position/save with their arms. Too cute.

As long as I did not understand anything I would love to read the transcript or at least a summary from this TV show. I hope someone kindly posts it to read.:)

So what is the injury- did he specify anything?

They did say it went deeper than the muscles? so it started by gp series, he felt something by that time .... about injury,And he says it's because he lacks constitution unlike Javier. At least this is off season and he has enough time to hit full form by autumn. Honestly I am even ok if he misses GP and just does nationals , 4cc and WC peaks for Helsinki..

As for the injury what I have heard is the brief narration and TV crew asking directly Yuzu while they were walking outside as translated above in FB. They did not specify or go any deeper than that.

By the way, that translation posted by Alia was done by me. I just translated from my memory of what I have heard. i didn't go back to check it, but it was about right.
