I guess it was said that if it is the most severe case, it will be ended with surgery and he will need 6 month to get his competative form. There is no escape from surgery if he has bruises on bones, in whole full recovery might take from 2 month max 6 month...
I hope its only demaged muscles so he can recover without surgery.

Ok, my one and only post about this: it's not Javi's fault that Yuzu didn't win. And I'm sure Yuzu wouldn't have wanted to win with that not-space-Pooh performance. He has high standards :)

edit: I'll repost this adorable moment :drama:

I'm surprised you are still not banned :disapp:
Here's a neat little trick that worked quite well for me this week.
In the upper right corner of this page, click on "Settings"
Then in the panel on the left, click on "Edit Ignore List"
And where it says "Add a Member to Your List... User Name", type in the name of the person you wish to no longer hear from.

Seriously, give it a try :) it may do wonders for your blood pressure and generally lift your mood.

And remember kids: don't feed the trolls.

I am seriously worrying about his injury now. I originally thought it is minor since I didn't see much pain of his practice in Boston and in GP, but...this boy, he's just beyond your imagination.

As if Yuzu didnt do disaster that night, it might be different, but... I believe some judge who havent watch Yuzu GPF still shortfalls because they expect for "skate of life" but...

Some people arent pleased with Javi PCS, but Javi deserve to win after all.

He noticed that Shoma was wearing a short sleeved tee-shirt,
Yuzu: "Shoma aren't you cold?"
Shoma: "I'm ok"
Yuzu: "Here, wear this" (he took off his jacket and gave it to Shoma)
- Translated by Ayako @YHIFG FB

Yuzu put ice in Nobu shirt
"Hey little one, are you cold? Here, wear my jacket."
"Hey, I forgot, did I already tease Nobu today? He looks comfortable, maybe I should shove some ice in his shirt"
sorry but the combination in the post was just too perfect

Deep down I'm worried too :hopelessness:, even though I'm trying to be positive

That video of Plushy and Yuzu is from the ice shows earlier this year right? Perhaps he was giving tips to improve his jumps stability? I wonder if Yuzu ever imagined that his idol would end up looking up to him like this.
I'm not sure which show was that. Coach Plushy talking to him after Yuzu made the 4Lz attempt.

Great documentary though I was shocked when it ended so quickly.
I have two questions. So does it mean he competed with the same great pain which he had in January? His bad falls during his practice in Toronto (was it filmed in February?) looked so painful, there must had been great pain behind them. Compared to this one practice his condition during Worlds seems perfectly fine to me. Did they manage to heal it prior to Worlds or he himself somehow adapted to pain and managed to keep good form? I'm so confused now. People keep saying he fought great pain during Worlds too but I never witnessed any hint of discomfort. And he even practiced diferent quads at the Gala practice. I guess we'll never really know.
The second one, what did he say about his loneliness? From what I caught, it seems he's most comfortable being one-on-one with his own loneliness but I'm not sure. Probably related to his fight in the world.

He got injured in Jan, used painkiller to do New year on Ice in Osaka. Actually after NC, he did know about it and refrain form 4t for 7 weeks, focus in 4s (Orser said so iirc), thats why his 4s now better than 4t and change 4t3t to 4s3t.
In my opinion, his injure was better till FS runthough when he did continuously 4t non stop, it may damage his bone (we dont know for sure) and ONE of the reason he boom at FS beside 2 reason he gave.
And if you see documentary, when they ask about his injure, he avoid to answer, if he has light injure, I dont think he need to hide, and the staff did say Yuzu pain so much at his left foot

So please send him possitive and love vibe

what do you mean by stage 2?

Stage 2 or more I think.
There is 3 stage, 1st stage is just light injure, rest few days and everything is ok, stage 2 is need doctor and 1-2month to fully recover, surgery may need, stage 3 is bone damaged already, need surgery put some metal nail and clip in, 3 month rest, 6 month fully recover.
please send him possitive and love vibe

Hanyu is so unlucky with injuries. Most of them seem to always happen before worlds too . I'm wondering if this is an overtraining issue because he's practically been injured to every worlds he's skated at (maybe not 2014?). In the event that he does need surgery, I hope he takes the time to fully heal and not rush back on the ice. There's still one full season before the Olympic season so he has time.

This time injure is because of 4lz training and 4t in 2nd half I think. This injure will make Yuzu refrain from toe top jump (4t, 4lz, 4f), while some other skater get hip injure, and they must refrain from edge jump (4lo 4s)

Thank you for explaining  hope it's not so serious.

This is the summary of what he said:

“It's lonely.
But my mental and physical condition get affected by my surroundings, and I have to shut them out of myself to skate the way I want to skate. So, in some ways, I want to be lonely.”

And hello everyone. This is my first post on this forum. I’m sorry that my translation is not complete because English is not my native language.

Thank you. Welcome to the thread. Post long and often (like me lol).

Another part of the video:

Journalist : “Are you a strong person ?”

Yuzuru, immediately : “No, I’m weak. I’m very, very weak. It’s because I’m weak that I need to isolate myself that much, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to do this, I wouldn’t be able to take it all and go on. If you are strong, whatever people say, whatever you environment is, it doesn’t matter, you can create your own self without being influenced. However, I think the reason I can’t create this own-self is because I’m weak.”
