By "raising the difficulty," does it mean you'll be adding different types of quads?
I'm thinking about that too but if possible, doing 2 in the 2nd half. I want to keep on challenging myself. But on top of that, I want to increase the level of perfection of the program with the way I'm able to show, interpret, express and feel so I want to show that as well as deliver the utmost technically difficult program even if I have to fumble along the way.

So this means he would try 4Lo and 4lz in a future, or 4A? With this kid you never know... If this happens I think I'll have a heart attack:drama:

I guess I'm in a translation kind of a mood today. This was hard! Please read is as my take on what he wanted to say and refer to other translations as well. Japanese speakers, please feel free to correct me. I also abbreviated some parts that seemed less important.

Thank you so much, mikaboo! It was a really interesting read, I'm always in awe at his self-analysing skills :thank:

I am quite sure he'll go for 4Lo next season, not sure about 4Lz, but he sounds like having a serious interest in 4A.

Happy to know he'll be on ice again soon ONLY IF he's REALLY getting better. Anyway I can just see what's going to happen.

Our heart always, always, always resists. No matter what happens, because we are learning with Yuzu overcome our limits. Consirerando that your goal is to constantly improve the technical and artistic quality of its programs to be póximo of perfection, I believe we will have many fast heartbeat during the season, but we will resist after all this is the great advantage of being a fan . Yuzu is in constant evolution and movement. Its programs evolve during the season and we can never predict what he intends to do until he does and surprise us.

Thank you for mikaboo translation. Yuzu is so young, but already has an unquestionable maturity and wisdom. Go Yuzu!

It still says "after his pain heals" so that is still not saying much. We have to wait... and hope it is really fully healed and not just someone wanting to get on the ice so badly he is willing it to be better. I am sure it is driving him crazy, all this waiting.

oh...be strong!

BTW, i found this chinese interview feels nicer than by Japanese. i cant say well , but he seems milder and talked relaxed(i may feel so since i was watching his interview by fuji tv just now.)

Same here. Though Fuji's interview has more information, yet I prefer watching the cctv one. I prefer his tone and expression in that one. He seems more light hearted.:scratch2:

I hope Yuzuru is resting and recovering well in Toronto and not adding any pressure on himself because he seems like the workaholic type of guy who always wants to keep on working/skating even during rest period. It's off-season so I'm sure he'll have enough time to gradually recover from his previous injury and work in some new programs.

Also, it's interesting to hear Yuzu's thoughts on continuing after the 2018 Olympics because he always said that he wanted to retire after the next winter olympics. No matter what he decides, we'll support him!

He really has to be patient this time. If he doesn't take quality time to recover then his condition might get worse again and next two years would be a bigger challenge for him. He does not need pain to stay in his way. No matter how much he can resist painful injury takes a lot of energy away. And I mean A LOT! Nobody wants him to suffer in order to win and conquer new quads. Yuzu, please be patient and recover fully before you start to climb your Wall.

Many thanks everyone for translations and updates!!!!!!!!

The fact Yuzu is still not sure about the retirement after the 2018 Pyeong Chang Olympics has just made my day.... it may open an umbelievable perspective of the next 6 years, actually I can't think about anything else :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

I would hold on with this plans excitement yet. I can't imagine his body holding up so many years of doing multi quads programs. Yes, Plushenko, went trough many injuires but many times he was doing programs with just one quad in it, and I just can't imagine Hanyu doing 3/4 quad LP and 2 quad SP for so many years. His body will not allow him to do that.

Haha I know, I know !!! But the idea Yuzu is opening his mind to this OPTION is actually enough for me. So happyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!:hap93::hap93::hap93:

People will have high expectations now so it'll be difficult to satisfy them.
But people's expectations make me happy. It means that what I've been doing since I was a child is paying off. Since I was little, I skated to improve for a sense of accomplishment but also because I wanted to be praised. I want to do a program where I can move people as well as lay importance on how I want to perform. So I hope everyone looks forward to what I decide to do and I'll also enjoy feeling people's expectations as I prepare for next season.

This makes me so happy! He gives us fans so much, so it's wonderful to think that he appreciates our attention.

Thank you so much for the subtle translation, mikaboo!

Especially regarding Javi including 2 quads in the SP, this happened while I was away from the Cricket Club so when I found that out, I didn't think of him a rink mate or a team mate but a rival and a scary existence — Would Yuzu consider spending more time in Toronto just to keep an eye on what is going on there?

Who is this 3F+2A+SEQ and this 3Lo+2A+SEQ ?

The 4Lo+3A which Yuzu did at WTT gala is a sequence like the above right? Is it worth it to do this kind of sequence or from points perspective it is not?

It's not worth it because sequences are worth 80% of the addition of both jump's BV. When a combination is worth the whole sum. That's why he only does that kind of sequences at ice shows and galas.

View of Yuzu cool down @GPF 2015 practice (same scene as Hamaguri posted before) but this one from higher seats. He is so exciting to watch, so much flair and so cool

By the way she jumps I think she's Kanako Murakami, the toe hammer at the 3F is the key;)

Thank you!!

What if he does the 4Lo+3A like how he does the 4T+3T in competition? Is it worth more? Do you guys think he can do this?

.....actually I don't know how a jump take-off and landing must be done like the edge/toe etc etc and I've read due to this only two/three certain jumps can go together in a combination...but I cannot remember them
