The article says he’ll show a new program for the first time. So at least SP or FP will be disclosed! Last year’s FaOI, he did new SP. But this year’s FaOI, I think he will have 2 programs per show as one of the center (I’m so glad… Last year, he was only one of the promising skaters and did only 1 program.)
The article also says about a new program. He says he challenges the most difficult layout he can do and tries to show different genre.

As piggy says, Hokkaido has so many foods from seafood to vegetables like this.
delicious hoods of hokkaido, chocolate and cake are so delicious! I confess I added 2 kg for 3 days during my trip to Hokkaido in my university days!

Sounds like some delicious foods...Don't worry about your English. It's certainly much better than my Japanese!:slink:

I'm look forward to visiting GS forum. Arigato-gozaimas!(means Thank you) (*^^)v

 My wish came true? It’s my post on Mao’s fan thread, was dated 02-16-2016

I was playing the Ladies in Lavender music on the piano and can SO see Shoma skating to this. I really could picture him in my mind as I played. Really do hope this is his music. I guess we'll know soon enough.

Hi I'm not good at English. So sorry. But
I've just got the magazine "Quadruple 2016 Extra".
Shoma says "My first competition is going to U.S. International Figure Skating Classic in Next Season too" in his interview.
Is my English understandable? I just want to inform you.

I contacted the Salt Lake City Figure Skating Club for info about the U.S. International Figure Skating Classic competition (which was in SLC last September). They answered that the competition IS being held there again at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex. She didn't give dates but said it is in early September again. I would LOVE to go this. It seemed like a smaller, rather informal venue, and the tickets are very reasonable. Last year Shoma, Keiji, Satoko, and Kanako competed. I will be interested to see if they participate this year. It sounds like Shoma is saying he is competing...The elevation in Salt Lake City is around 4,200 feet, so it's pretty challenging to the skaters as they are trying to get in shape for the upcoming season. If I remember right, Shoma was huffing and puffing after he finished his long program last year.:drama: :eeking:

Thanks. They must have just posted the dates. I tried to find it a couple days ago and didn't see it. Darn, I can't go those days! I'll be out of the U.S. :curse:

its a pity. I had expected you would go there since such competition is small and would make it possible to see skaters closely and interact with them as you say.:drama: (you are having a trip or so outside us? enjoy !)

That's too bad. Will this picture cheer you up?(or something) I don't have a scanner.(cause: a low quality):dumb:

I am so excited to see how Shoma improves next season! One topic to put out there: Do you guys think that Shoma has finished growing or is a growth spurt on the horizon? It would make me sad to see him have a season like what Nam Nguyen just had, especially this close to 2018.

He has the cutest smile! I hope we see a lot more of it next season. Oh, the dreaded V-neck. And what color V-neck will he have next season?! Not will he have one, but what color will it be?!:bang:

Oops - think I meant to post the above to Mrs. Piggy. The smaller competitions are really fun.

I really don't see Shoma growing that much more. I just think he is destined to be a little guy. That's ok though, there are lots of little guy great skaters...As for Nam, I'm so sad for him. And he has grown so much. I understand even his feet grew lots. At Skate America 2014, we saw him live and really enjoyed his skating. He took the bronze medal and showed so much promise...Strange thing, after the men's competition at Worlds, when we took the subway to our hotel, there was Nam standing there waiting for the subway too. And he was in our subway car later. I wish I would have had the nerve to give him a big hug, because he looked like he REALLY needed it, especially after his disaster at Worlds.

I’m afraid shoma seems to have already stopped to grow.. But seeing Nam this season, I realized how the surge growth affected skaters badly. Poor Nam.
Generally speaking, taller skaters have advantageous in terms of presentation, but about Shoma, he doesn’t look tiny on ice. Of course, it would be better for him to add more height, but losing the balance like Nam would be a huge risk…

He’s already had the white one for Ex.
What color do you think would match Shoma except black and white?
