weird layout , I guess they will change it completely later on, why 2 loops? where is Lz? and what does that 3 S mean?

Just noticed that with #1208. Let's see if I deleted it here...As I had mentioned earlier, I was having a really hard time putting the two songs together in my head. For one thing, I was thinking more of tangos like El Choclo or La Cumparsita - although maybe they're too well known or over used. Sounds cool with the connection of the two songs...I'm sure it's all still a work in progress. Go Shoma! :hap85:

It worked :agree:

I read there was an announcement at the venue that today's show will be the one to be broadcasted on TV.
Great, he's going to fall on the stsq. I just know it

Poo(h) - no falls! :palmf:...Wish me luck - picking up my skating nerd friend and heading over to the box office to get our Skate America tickets. Same hopes and dreams still apply.

Now party begins:biggrin:
Shoma showed the whole fs not shortened version. Good! No wonder he did only one program.
My post #1208 keeps on showing up on your posts. I wonder why (or is it just on my computer screen)?

According to tweets, he jumps one of the 3As right after the sound of high-pitched sound of the violin and right at the moment of silence, then the 2nd song starts as soon as he lands it. Sounds cool but it would be sad if he fell on it.
For the finale, he wore a silver T-shirt with a black vest, came out escorting Marin Honda, he was slightly behind everybody for the choreo. (to everybody's joy, fans seemed disappointed when he was doing fine in the opening) and didn't know which row to follow. Popped his 4T for the jump battle but succeeded the 2nd one.
Hopefully videos will be uploaded as soon as it's broadcasted in Hokkaido on Sunday.

I just felt the same. 3a in silence is pretty cool if he does well. But if he fails, the program must go messy... so risky...

Ohhh, nice! Yes, great whatever that is (decoration!). I was hoping red for the tango and purple for the short. Maybe part of my dream has come true. But can we really know if this is it?...We'll see what happens. He changed green to black (for SP) last year and red to leprechaun (for FS).

Noooo, please! Keep red, shoma!:dbana:

Only 139 days til Skate America. Got my tickets - end section (109), 6 rows from the ice. Should be fun!

:yahoo:
i just envy you. whether it is ice or stage, the distance to performars is important when you watch something live. the closer you can be, the bigger your excitement will be. in japan, it is almost impossible to get such close sheat in cometitions and it costs a lot in shows...

Love Shoma's intensity in that photo. He will have to work at getting just the right LOOK for the tango...Crazy question - since Marin's last name is Honda, is that the Honda family, like the car I drive?! She is a cute girl, but I think maybe Satoko is going to be jealous!

I have heard that skating tickets are very expensive in Japan. Your shows do seem very wonderful and elaborate though! We paid $125 for an all-event pass. That seems very reasonable and is a lot of skating for the money. That's long and short program for all 4 disciplines, the exhibition/gala, and you also are allowed to go to several practices. I have never gone to a practice session, so I am looking forward to that. Rather than a 2-1/2 or 4-1/2 minute program, you get to see your favorite skaters on the ice for 40 minutes or so. Should be fun!

Honda seems to be a common name although I don't personally know anyone with that name atm.
It's ranked 130th in the most common surnames list, Sato being the most common. But yes, the kanji used for Honda the car and Honda family are the same.

:yahoo: about getting your tickets! One day I'll go to a GP event...

Actually a friend of mine's surname is Honda, but in different kanji (Honda Motor and Marin: 本田, my friend: 本多 less common). We were in UK for a year, long time ago, and she was asked many times whether she was a member of the family of Honda Motor

I remember someone saying she was from a wealthy family, and it made me wonder if it was THE Honda family. And yes, I do love my Honda! Great car...It amazes me that any family can afford to have 4 kids skate. One is expensive enough...Sorry, a little off topic here in Shoma kun's thread!

Ah, if she was from THE Honda family, I think she'd be more famous! And I kind of laugh at my post, Honda is a common surname at 130th
But to be fair, my surname is between 5000th and 6000th. And to keep this post on topic, Uno is at 379th.

with the singer, fujisawa

he did most jumps well.
from fans views, his expressions sound so nice....

And he does the last 3s from a Cantilever :eekn:

That seems like quite a program! I'm exhausted just reading it! I'm sure doing it in a show and doing it in competition where there's lots of pressure will be completely different. And a salchow from the cantilever intrigues me! Wonder if he did the new style cantilever where his hands are on the ice. Love the 3a from spread eagle. Such excitement!
