I hope Yuzu or his team reveal one of his music choices soon so we can start wondering about the costumes  do you think he will have time to get an EX ready? Or will he use one of his previous programs? Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Chopin or Seimei at the Galas, even though a new program would be nice.

OH! To see Seimei or Chopin again! Brian remarked last season that Yuzuru was 'deeply in love' with both programs. Immediately after Worlds, part of the complex mix of thoughts and emotions that Yuzuru expressed was regret that he 'was not Seimei, today' and he wanted to do it over immediately, and it seemed to me that the wish was not solely in order to win. I can't help but wonder if he would find some satisfaction in at least one more public splendid performance of that brilliant program. But whatever he decides will be right for him, I will have thankful joy to watch!

I want all new programs. Three new programs and three new costumes. :hap10:
When it is usually the time the TV people come to his open practices and film him pre-season? Early or late in August? I dont mind waiting a bit more.

Thanks for the link about OWA, I'll check it once I'm home. :D

For sure we'll have 2 new programs, but no idea about a new EX. I hope too, but if he doesn't have time (yet) for one, it's fine. And yes, I think August will be the time we'll have some parts of the programs. I suppose we'll know the music before then.
Yes, the COSTUMES!! It's always fun to wait and see what Yuzu will bring us. :cheer:

He is more harshly judged in certain countries, e.g. Canada and USA (he is always held down in Canada and his rivals will be very over-scored in USA) and he also gets less support in certain countries. 2/3 (or 70%) of the tickets of skating competitions are reserved for local residents. No matter how many foreign fans yuzu can bring to the competition, they won't fill the stadium unless he has a big fan base in the host country. There are certain skating community in certain region/countries that don't like him as much as the skating community in other countries. That would put more pressure on him. (It's not coincidence that it's harder for him to perform well and score well in certain countries when he is not favored by the skating community in those countries.) There are many factors that impact his performance. But external factors impact his performance more than his physical condition. What impacts his performance and how his team should handle his physical and mental conditions are two separate issues. I won't comment on the latter because that seems like a sensitive issue.

I agree with you :agree:

On a lighter note ,we could say other than sensitive the issue is completely missing as a topic , that is the issue is sensitive because is a missing topic.

when is Yuzuru likely to reveal his SP and LP choices?

I have no hopes till late August, maybe by then Japanese TV visits Cricket and we will have some footage. :drama:

Will he still be in Toronto by then or rather in Japan for a short vacation and sponsors events and obligations?

They will visit CC before he leaves for sure , I think so..and maybe show the footage a bit later. They never do any footage when he is training in Sendai, if it isn't charity show preparation or smth like this. I think Yuzu will spend some time in Japan and come back by mid September if he plans to compete at any senior B, maybe a bit later if he's going to begin season from SC.

When it comes to Yuzu's new costumes the world is instantly going  I love this so much about him  He always manages to pull out something interesting, amusing, spot-on, stylish and Yuzu-ish. You can never expect anything because the number of frills or blings may shock your experienced self nonetheless at the very end. Or the absence of them.
I hope this time the costume will be fitting, emphasizing his lines nicely. Missing old times when fans could guess his costume theme by designed bottle covers.

Thank you @Fayruza @Arriba627 and @kiches for the kind words. Thank you for those who took the time to read too.
I am actually more excited about his new program and music choice now. For his ex, if he had time I am hoping that one day he would work with Nanami Abe again since I like her choreography and I would love to see Yuzuru and her working on something again. If he is tight on time, maybe then he can perform his old programs like he used to do back in 13/14 days.

I heard that he would have a meeting with Phiten team or something on August (Sorry, forgot where I read this maybe someone can link the source?). So I assume he would return to Japan for a while to do his costume, have some interview and probably give a sneak-peek about his program?

Also I'd like to add a little note just as a friendly reminder. We are Yuzuru's supporter/fan/admire. But most if not all of us here probably do not personally know him. We are not his family, friends, coaching team, JSF, ANA, medical team etc. We also did not know the people in his inner circle and we are simply an outsider and a stranger. Making observation is fine but making a not-so-pleasant accusation about the people around Yuzuru (or Yuzuru himself) based on rumors, speculations, assumptions is not really nice. Perhaps, if any of us dislike someone around him for personal reasons it is somewhat acceptable, I did that too at times. But judging someone's character based on our assumption and treat them like they are facts without even knowing or meeting the person is not really pleasant. Pretty sure some of us would be upset if some people made malicious assumption about Yuzuru without knowing the whole picture too, so let's refrain from doing so regarding the people around him. :)

It's the Carmina Burana of video games, the villain's theme
Duhduhduhduhhhhhhhh.... Sepiroth! Duhduhduhduhhhhhhh.... Sepiroth!

I'll be the first to admit the main reason I adore Kevin Reynolds is because he's skated to a couple of VGM songs (and I think he looks like Cloud and Crono).
Yuzuru skating to something VGM related would be incredible!

Arriba, for SC I went through Ticketmaster in early May; it was a breeze. Ticket delivery has been delayed for all tickets, but there's an 800# for checking up that I've called (a bunch of times:)). Skate America from the Sears Center 6/03 online took me over 40 minutes due to a somewhat toxic mix of computer program incompatibilities and my anxious ignorance (still happy with my seat--& very happy to be going at all!). I hope you decide to go to SC!

I broke down today and bought my SC all-event ticket and booked my hotel, just doing it on my own. Interesting that I have to pick up my tickets at the box ofc. - no mail or email. Should be a great event, and I love Canada so much!

The source ..this fan went to Phiten seminar in Osaka on July 2, the general manager of the company mentioned Yuzu is scheduled to have a meeting with them in August. Yuzu is a contracted advisory to Phiten since 2014 summer - shared by EchoCheng at FB

When I mentioned I was coming for Skate Canada, the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Mississauga (2 miles from Hershey Arena) told me that SC has reserved a block of rooms there for the skaters. Even though I'm just coming as a spectator, they gave me SC's reduced rate. The hotel doesn't have an airport shuttle; they said it's possible they'll arrange an Arena shuttle for the competition, it's too early for them to know.

I booked with Fairfield Mississauga also. An arena shuttle would be great!

Thank you for the link, Alia! :thank:
Hopefully we will get a preview or sneak-peek about his programs around that time. Or will the first time seeing the programs could only be done by the time of Skate Canada practice. :drama:

Kevin Reynolds also skated to Cowboy Bebop (Tank), and I wish for him to be injury free and have a well-deserved great season! It's exciting as skaters use more current music. Can hardly wait to learn what Yuzuru has chosen--classic, current, avant-garde...it will be perfect. I may have to stretch in order to understand, but it will be perfect. Yuzuru is a genius imho, I feel privileged to see a little bit as he evolves.
