ETA:
And Narumi Takahashi/Ryo Shibata have been added to CaOI.

Other additions:
Daisuke Takahashi
Shizuka Arakawa
Marin Honda
Miu Suzaki/Ryuichi Kihara

JO was too close to Skate America for Mao. Team Japan is like Nobu and his 3 young nephews. Great opportunity for him to compete again, a lot of people thought he retired a bit early.

I wasn't expecting Wakaba, it's a pleasant surprise! And Daisuke! And Narumi & Ryo! :drama::dbana:

This article says that Rika Kihira succeeded in landing the 3A-3T 4 times during the Jr. Training Camp and plans on including it in her FS this season.

I thought Koshiro grew a lot, but look how tall Sena and Yuto are:eek: And Taichiro is 170cm now according to the JSF bio.

Stephane went to Mao’s The ICE tonight to present them with flowers (I think for the 10th anniversary of the show). And he did the collab with Satoko for Hernando’s Hideaway. Such a busy man!

Also, Mao will compete at Finlandia Trophy.

Another photo of Marin, Yuna and Yuna. Good luck this season girls! :hap10:

And Rin says that besides Kazuki and her, everybody else was born in the year 2000s.

Actually, I read that Sota is the youngest man to compete at GP this season, and he’s also the first man born in the 2000s to compete at the GP :con2:
I didn’t check for accuracy though.

Kihira is correct. Written in kanji as 紀(KI)平(HIRA).

Kihara is usually 木(KI) 原(HARA).
Yes, thanks mikaboo - I saw it on her JSF page right after I posted.

I'm hoping for a good Junior debut from Rika, and also that Yuna A has a more successful season this year...

According to the Ski Journal (publisher), Koshiro Shimada has prepared “Quidam” and “Art on Ice” for his SP and although it’s not the final decision yet, he’s narrowed down to “Art on Ice”, choreographed by Misao Sato.

Another one from, Ski Journal. It says that Rika Kihira’s success rate for 3A is 3/5 and when she does land it, it has height with nice flow out of it so it’s easy for her to add 3T to it.

This article says that Rika Kihira is going to JGP Czech Skate and JGP Slovania. I wonder if she’ll still get Slovania if she is below 4th at JGP Czech Skate  Or that she's so special that she's going to get 2 JGPs no matter where she ends up.

Yes, me too although I dread to think what will happen to Rika after she lands a successful 3A in competition. I'd imagine the Jp media going crazy over her. But then if she's going to do it, it might be better to do it while Mao and Marin are still the media darlings. For Yuna Aoki, fingers crossed that she'll finally get a 3T :drama:

I'm surprised Koshiro waited so long to pick his SP. He's competing so soon!

It'll be super exciting to see if Rikak can land a 3A right off the bat in competition. I really want to see YunaA do well too

I think he announced that the SP was going to be "Quidam" pretty early. Maybe it wasn't going well for him so they changed it recently.
I guess we'll find out which one he actually chose at Asian Trophy. I hope there'll be fan cams!

Jeff's IG yesterday "Today, started working with a wonderful Olympic champion on a new program in Nagoya". Anyone knows who could that be?

I'm guessing it's Shizuka since she has her own ice show coming up and also an event in Hawaii. Unless the other OGM has ninja'd his way back into the country and somehow ended up in Nagoya ;)
