Congratulations to Koshiro, Keiji and Yura on their wins and Miu and Ryuichi on their bronze. Didn't think Koshiro could do it, but he's still strong in the FS. Fingers crossed that he'll get a 3A this season.

I’m glad Yura kept her SP from last season. And she did a 2A-3T-3Lo :eek: She got so many URs though.

Yes I really hope Koshiro’s improvement and also injury free.
I just re-watched his performance at MOI EX 2015, it looks like he sure knows how to treat the audience. :peace:

and It’s nice if we can get more videos of all the competitors at AT. I would like to watch the performances of other medalists, too.
 
Excited about Gensan Summer Cup happening next week. Entries are quite impressive (and extensive for the ladies :eek:).

This junior ladies comp. was full of surprises with Mako Yamashita winning overall and Riko Takino winning the FS and she’s not even assigned to JGP. I’m glad to see that YunaS has her triples back. And Yuhana Yokoi attempted a 3A! She fell but people who saw it said that it had good height and width. And RikaK landed a 3A during the warm-up but fell in the FS. What a shame.

Wow, Yokoi joining the 3A club too...!

Over the years many ladies have "trained" for 3A, but very few actually attempted it in competition.
But recently there are more and more, and they seem to be "serious" about it!
Perhaps we are on the verge a new era...

I am so happy that a lot more ladies are trying the 3A!
To be quite honest, ladies skating been less exciting for me since nearly everyone has almost similar layout and it is just a matter of who got the biggest PCS (and clean) who will win now (applies to both junior and senior). It is refreshing and exciting to see that some of these junior ladies are willing to take risk, and you know, shake things up a bit! :biggrin:

I don't think Yuhana has a 3-3 besides the 3T-3T so maybe she needs the 3A to stay competitive. Also, Coach Nagakubo was keen on having Rika Hongo train the 3A so maybe he's encouraging his other female students to do the same. In any case, it would be exciting if she can land it!
