It says that the model of “Yuri” is Yulia. When Mitsurou Kubo (the manga artist) saw Yulia live, she was wearing leopard patterned top and bottom and the artist wanted a male version of her and immediately created the character Yuri.

I wasn’t sure why the leopard patterns left an impression on her so I looked at other tweets and found that when she saw Yulia in those clothes and also with a leopard patterned trolley bag, she thought Yulia looked fierce and scary for someone so young.

Well since the model of the main character is Yulia, I hope the artist does Yulia justice and portrays the sweet side of her too.

It refers to Yuri Plisetsky the RUSSIAN boy. There are two Yuri: the Japanese one Yuri Katsuki who's the main character and Yuri Plisetsky, a 16-year old Russian kid, who's also a skater (one of JP Yuri's rivals) who does look a lot like Julia. :)
It's funny how Julia and Plushy were the models for the two main Russian rivals. :laugh:

Somehow I imagined that she was wearing leopard prints from top to bottom but this makes more sense.
Oh no, it's a Yaoi series? I hope she finds the whole thing amusing at least :laugh:

Lol it's not a Yaoi serie, it's a normal one. ;)
Yulia is the model of the Russian Yuri but that's all, she's not him. Just like Yuzu is the model of JP Yuri, they look alike but are two different characters. Same with Plushy and the other Russian one.
So fans better not expect to see RU Yuri being Yulia. :laugh:

It's all matter of lighting. Nothing unnatural on the photo. It's typical back-lighting. Water is exposed properly, her shirt is light so we can still see the details, even if it's in deep shadows, and the cat is naturally dark. There is no photoshop on this picture. All looks ok.

If I remember it correctly, she had several exhibition skates before the beginnings of last two seasons.
It seems, she's is focusing on kicking buttz in GP this year. :dev3::agree2:

Hey guys! Just wanted to ask, I noticed it in one of her recent selfie, does she have a nose piercing? This is probably asked here before but I don't have the patience to browse all the pages lol :laugh: :laugh:
