Yes, who knows. I' ll buy this "pirouette" and read myself.I think they made a mistake. Maybe it was meant to say that Yuzuru tried all quads except Quad Flip and Quad Axel. They made a mistake and turned it into Quad Toe.

I just hop into my car to get the "pirouette" July/August.Thank you Katie!
The magazine would/should be out by Sept 16th (from the link I clicked on that tweet). I assumed it is not out yet so maybe you can still get it if you are interested in having it. Again, Thank you!
I don't think he will include 4F or 4Lz even if he trained it though, he probably trained them because back then he can't really do much 4Ts in training, maybe, so why not try new jumpsDuring requiem gala performance after competition i think he stepout some of the easier triple jump too, so I will not look much into it

well, maybe he tried the flip. From that one (half) sentence it's not really clear how often he did each jump and which ones he actually landed. It's not like these kids don't mess around with jumps just because they canI think they made a mistake. Maybe it was meant to say that Yuzuru tried all quads except Quad Flip and Quad Axel. Gorgeous, love this camera angle...White Legend in all its glory
The teens are so shy and great that they've been given this chance to participate, Kumamon ina bauer is :agree:....and Yuzu is so handsome from head to toe, his voice, and him kept leaning on Kumamon during photo taking

Just came back from Würzburg - center: Even in the biggest shop for magazines at the train station they didn't have "pirouette", it was not even in their list ! Sorry, Germany is a figure skating desert. I ordered the July/ August edition over pirouette.de, no idea how quickly it will come, I did payment already. Translation follows same hour as the magazine arrives.
But that cricket club article of which they posted one page is going to be in the September issue, isn't it?
First event is Skate Canada ? That's quite brave to try 4 quads fs there
I really doubt that is the case. I think he might be able to introduce 4Lo this season but if his practice success rate on 4Lz or 4F is quite high we might see another quad at 4CC and WC not earlier. Either so it would not stop him from practicing a fourth quad for the Olympics season. He needs to be sure of the new quad to add it to his competitive rage, he should be healthy, his stamina should permit him to do so- then sky is the limit.Just going to stir the pot a bit. If the translation of Javier's interview posted in his thread is an exact one, "Yuzu is about to do four quads" is rather vague. I get that this might just be the way Javier speaks, but with the talk from multiple sources of Yuzuru practicing many different quads, is it possible this might mean not just four quads in the free skate but also four different quads?

I personally think that 4 quad FS is his next new target. Because he just can't let Boyang and Nathan do 4 when he does only 3. He's highly competitive, all the time.
Interesting to see how Yuzu's strengths have shifted on the last few years. A couple of years ago, the 4T was one of his trademarks (alongside the 3A), but now, due to that injury (unfortunately), his 4S is proving to be more reliable.I agree. Going straight from 2 types of quads to 4 is too risky to do, both points-wise and injuries-wise. If he's really doing 4 quads, I would think it's a 4Lo, a 4T and 2 4S. We haven't seen recent clips of Yuzu attempting a 4Lz other than the one of the ice show where Plushy was giving him tips. He may land it, but I doubt it's competition ready.
I wonder if he will go all the way with the 4Lo and do it both for the SP and the FS. Or if he'll stick to the SP layout of last season and do a 4S and a 4T. I'm leaning towards the first option, since he seems to be approaching the 4T with care and is not over doing it, so perhaps it's best to just have one 4T in total.Interesting to see how Yuzu's strengths have shifted on the last few years. I think so, there might have been some misunderstanding. I clearly remember the girl mentioned 4T, 4S, 4lo and 4Lz. And scorewise, it's better for Yuzuru to train 4lo and 4lz rather than 4F and 4lz. He will not have to care about edge in the flip. Lutz edge is no problem with him.Maybe so, because the Dastich quote in Icenetwork (photo 6) says he's working on 4S, 4T & 4Lo, & also 4Lz in a harness.
I'd love to know the music for that short, description sounds so cool I want to finally hear it.His new short sounds really good but I'm so curious about his free! Give us a hint please Yuzuru :sad21:![]()

The magazine is apparently sold in Dresden, Berlin and Oberstdorf (https://www.facebook.com/Pirouette-Eiskunstlaufmagazin-536747053084017/?fref=nf).
The article (Der Cricket Club in Toronto) seems not to be included in the July/August edition. The magazine was published in July and the visit to Toronto the article is based on was in August.
