Of course, I'm not saying that there will be problems in the future, but this issue is partly why few skaters dare wearing white like Yuzu does. Girls with white dress can avoid problem with sleeve-less dress and short skirt, like Satoko's for her FP.
At least, there're parterns on his white pants. But more of them would be nice if he really intends to keep being white for his SP, lol.

No, I meant that since the pants tend to blend a lot, his lines and difficult movements may be missed or/and hard to see for people watching the performance, including judges. That's the issue with wearing white, so I really hope the judges have/will have no problem catching his moves. If it doesn't bother them, then good for Yuzu, but otherwise...
People in the arena said they still could see his movements well, as in reality it is not that blendy with the ice. But yeah we should wait for Skate Canada to see if he will adjust the pants, or if tech panel and judges will not be borthered by the whiteness.

He can't change the pattern, it is larger in size than the original one Prince had. Otherwise the whole costume design might deteriorate. (I really really love it!:hap85::yes:)
About girls... What are you talking about? We still can see their legs and sometimes they even cover their white boots with those tights (is it the right word?). No problem in that area! Upper body though... well, rare girl would like to have a plain white dress as they all want to shine bright like a diamond (thank you Rihanna!). So they either go decolletage way or naked back way, so- you can't really say they are hiding away from fans and judges, haha! (Look, there's a girl at Finlandia Trophy right now wearing white body and white transparent shirt, OMG:biggrin:, talking white here!)

Ah, I've realized it's going to take a lot to supplant Seimei as my favourite FS of his. I'm watching it (bless YT tbh and it's playlist options) and enjoying the various commentary on it (BESP, Spanish, Russians, etc). It's truly something to see them all roll out in a row, at NHK and GPF, and it truly was a spectacular program. But it also makes me really look forward to this new one being complete too!

Andrew Torgashev did Parisian Walkways and now Notre-Dame de Paris for SP.
Coincidence?:sarcasm:

Why sarcasm? Imitation is a form of flattery. I haven't seen Torgashev's PW but his NDP is quite different from Yuzu's and actually quite good.

Who's the choreographer? I think I saw a junior guy skating to one of Yuzu old music (I think it was even the same cut) with David Willson's choreo (I think David also did the choreo for Yuzu for the same music) and I was like- wow, must have been a tough job for David, I mean recreate something that was done before, even not once or twice...

I remember the junior who did R&J1 (nearly the same music cut even the choreo), but that's the choreographers fault :dev2:. As for Andrew Torgashev I haven't seen his Notre-Dame de Paris yet. His PW however, though I noticed there are a couple of moves similar to Yuzuru's, I think Andrew made that PW his own.

Lol, I feel you guys who can't catch up with all the news. Before I used to stubbornly make it to watch everything that existed and what I could watch, but it's getting impossible really. May I ask you for the link of the video you watched (where he goes to K&C)?
I'd kill for the whole Brian hugging + K&C part. Hopefully there will be more fancams.

Hey I found this video by chance. It's the same with the one I watched from DM, just not HD quality. It has the K&C moment I mentioned in my last comment. https://youtu.be/6a9si1p3Bhk :)

I feel like I wanna watch his free again but haven't got the chance to. That's how busy (and tired) I am. But it's weekend so hopefully time to relax. Here's hoping Yuzu's training is going well. I don't mind waiting until SC I can wait.

Also the white-blue-green color is growing on me.. not that I had a problem with it, I thought it's so 'him', I just found it prettier.. the colors. My current favorite part of his free is the part of his first spin combo and his stsq.. and also the chsq (it sounds intense yet so beautiful) until the end.

p.s. who hung that big Pooh plush at the railing on the tribune lol

Just rewatched the FS and I find it really beautiful...my only complaint is the very short Ina Bauer, he can do it so well and hold it so long...maybe cut the hydroblade and put a longer Ina Bauer instead? I know, hydroblades are a Yuzu trademark too, but somehow I don't get them with this program...but, apart from this very minor detail, great job as usual!

The hydroblade fits into the music so well; actually I think it fits better than it did last season. And my guess for the shorter Ina Bauer than usual is also for music fitting purpose as he needs to catch up with the 3Lz.

Ignoring my username, when i saw the practice i thought the hydroblade fit with the rest of the program, that part of the music sounds right for it. But i am also very disappointed with how short the Ina Bauer is (his ina bauer is my second favorite element, after hydroblade). I think he would have to choose one, i felt like they tried to cram those two elements into the program when in reality only one of them would be enough. And i didn´t like the hydroblade as much as in other programs (SEIMEI AAAH), it felt rushed :c

Someone might have already linked, but anyway,

Angelic Yuzuru translated the interview of Yuzuru with Ms. Kato the other day.
:thank:

I was impressed she translated 快感(かいかん) kaikan into "thrill."
Today, I've got another knowledge ;)

To an auntie like me, kaikan reminds me of the famous scene of the film ”Sailor Suit and Machine Gun (セーラー服と機関銃 Sērā-fuku to kikanjū) :rofl2:

1981 & 2016 versions: You'll hear the heroine murmurs at the last being entranced :p

I too think they should either one of them but probably the IB into Lutz garner him more point so...anyway, the program is so good and suits him so much that I can definetely not complain!
