Concerning that crazy Vasiliev's "suggestion"... The paper which published this is a tabloid, so it's very likely to be a fake. I've also read somewhere that Vasiliev seems to have said something of this kind in the TV "Ice Age" show - God knows in which context, maybe that was completely a joke. But the tabloids were sure to snatch it at once and to make the news...
