If it's any consolation, I did see him and posted it: Then started reading you all complaining he was not there and had to adjust my glasses and look again...........
All part of a life of big Yuzu fans I guess!

Bunny is having a good rest before a big battle, why do you cry? Stop it. He is a wise bunny, he is taking care of his body for it to perform it's best for competitions.:agree2:

Much thanks to source nanoka12Q: Tell us about your programmes this season
Yuzuru: For the SP, I requested Jeffrey to pick the music. When I watched him skate or choreograph at Fantasy on Ice, I would think “This so good” or “He seems to be really good at that"; they are very distinctively him. Like that move in Uptown Funk (dances), it is very characteristic of him and I also really like to dance in that way. It is not my forte but I like it. I wanted to utilise this in competition, and thus we have this SP.
With regard to the FS Hope and Legacy, similar to Requiem of Heaven and Earth it is a programme that expresses many of the things in nature and within me, with a tinge of Japanese flavour, and like Ballade it is a piece of piano music. This music was selected after narrowing down the choices.
Q: What are the kind of images that choreographer Shae-Lynn imparted to you for the FS?
Yuzuru: There is life, there is hope, there is the question of what I exist for, of what I am, presented within the choreography. But these are not things that can take concrete form in the choreography. As they are abstract things, although the choreography doesn’t say “such means this or that", in the flow of the programme–well of course if I don’t land the jumps it will not flow as a story or conversation (laughs), but she told me to “Think within yourself how, within this flow, you want to interpret these things.”
Q: Are you aware that Asian Dream Song which is used in the second half of your FS was the official theme song for the Nagano Winter Paralympic Games?
Yuzuru: Yes. It was precisely in the year that the Nagano Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games were held, that because of the Nagano Olympics that we went to the skating rink. From that visit my sister and also myself started skating. In the sense that this music is part of the events of that year that led me to begin skating, I think its great that it has such meaning, and I felt a sense of connection to it. Also, how should I put it, when I listen to the music, while I’m listening to it I feel a tremendous rush of emotions as if they would overflow, and from that I decided on this piece of music.
Q: There is a choreographed gesture in your SP that looks like you are making a phone call, is that what it represents?
Yuzuru: The phone. Yes, its the phone (laughs). There is a part in the lyrics that mentions calling his girlfriend. (laughs)
Q: Did you make any changes to the way you jump due to your injury?
Yuzuru: I didn’t make any change. However, there are other changes, such as in the way I approach training. To the extent that there definitely will be mental tiredness, I also started to reflect on physical tiredness, of tiredness in different parts of the body and so on. Although each type of jump differs from another, what was their individual effect on the body? While there is the commonality of causing tiredness, they lead to tiredness in completely different ways and I thought about the effect of each type of jump relative to the other types.
Q: Coach Orser said that “Although until now he has always held nothing back in training, he has learnt to rest a little.”
Yuzuru: Ahaha, indeed. (laughs) Since last year I really learnt to rest. Although by and large I would have thought about how I would train, once training started I couldn’t help getting completely absorbed in it and very quickly practiced too much. Even though I was tired I continued to practice which made things worse and this dragged on. From such occurrences, after giving thought to the fact that this would increase the risk of injury and things like that, I made resting a type of training. (laughs)
Q: It is like training, isn’t it? (laughs)
Yuzuru: Yes. (laughs) I think I learnt that to rest is also a form of training.
Q: Do you want to compete in this season’s Four Continents Championships that will be held at the venue for the Pyeongchang Olympics?
Yuzuru: I want to. As expected, looking ahead to the Pyeongchang Olympics I want to skate at the same venue where it will be held, and first of all in order to be able to do so I need to manage my peaking. Therefore I want to set out clearly within myself how I will perfect these programmes, how I want to perfect these programmes, and to treasure every single step until I reach there.
Bunny is having a good rest before a big battle, why do you cry? Stop it. He is a wise bunny, he is taking care of his body for it to perform it's best for competitions.:agree2:
We shall be counting!:yes:Yep , he is taking care of his body. And then he will throw 20 quads in 2nd practice later![]()
I call him both bunny and kitty in my head, just I envision bunny as a white fluffy one and Yuzu's SP has a very white costume so... bunny comes first to my head now.I think of him more like a kitty, he looks like a cute kitty when he smiles♥...
But yeah, i am a bit disappointed because i wanted to see the sp again, but i think it might be wiser to conserve energy and practice the FSI believe in him♥

So guys I'm a bit confused- Yuzu will be in group at Practice 3&4, right? I've heard that this draw is the same for practices too. Can anyone clarify this? And in a few hours he's in group 2 again? Totally confused. Help?
Thank you!:agree:He is still in group 2 for today. Going forward he will be in group 1 for tomorrow's op.
Well, we were trying to unwind. So many pages and he hasn't even been seen on the ice yet :roll9:

I recall a tweet from AC saying something like "not many athletes can get so many retweets of a photo of the back of their head"So many pages and he hasn't even been seen on the ice yet :roll9:
this seem pretty average in comparisonI recall a tweet from AC saying something like "not many athletes can get so many retweets of a photo of the back of their head"this seem pretty average in comparison
(I'm on my phone, so I can't look up the link)

Great stuff, thanks for the link!
He's becoming more cautious, thanks goodness for that. And so, even if we had guessed for a while, he wants to go to 4CC. Well, no reason for him not to go. I haven't noticed too. I think we will compare it when performed next.according to the twitter, the music of sp is a bit arranged newly from the one at AC.
