Yeah, agreed. His mentality was my biggest worry too. And to be honest, the LP was kind of better than I expected? The second part was wonderful, way more so than I thought it would be at this point. I need to re-watch that. Definitely yes to the other two :laugh:

I was worried about his mentality too. He looked very nervous and not very confident this entire event outside of practices, which is why it's great that this event is at least ending on a good note. I think that it would really help his confidence in his practices later on and hopefully not overtrain.
 
I didn't post my comments about the short, but I still like the white pants and after the first jumps were out of the way I love how he really sold the rest. This can become a signature program for him IMO right along with his last two SPs (hey, that's what the greats do). As for the long, I am so relieved to see that fight in him after the short where he looked so sad! I want him to peak where it matters anyway so the mistakes here are fine. The season is long. I went and took a nap and then was afraid to look at the results when I woke up and it was over, haha. Universal Sports airs it later tonight so I'll catch his skate then with their commentary.
 
I am very touched by all this people rooting for Yuzuru and encouraging him.
So far I have seen tweets from Evgenia Medvedeva, Marin Honda, Nam Nguyen. Hamaguri just showed JohnWilsonblades too.

This is certainly a mark he has carved, that no matter how he does, where his placement is, he is a champion in people's hearts. :luv17:
